A customer repair engine. The cylinder sleeve has some slight gouges on it that could impact compression and head sealing. I won't know for sure until new bearings are installed.

I finally bought a 2.5liter ultrasonic cleaner. I took the engine apart and after 10minutes i was amazed how good this works. Did it 10 more minutes and it was done. 😀🇳🇱

It's very possible that engine was on a seaplane and got dunked in the water...numerous times before changing hands. Looks like you have a good line on getting her humming again. Carry on David.

Hi David.I have got both OS 55AX-II and ASP 52 glow engines that they need to be replace their bearings.However, I wonder that should I buy original bearings which produced by OS engines? or should I buy from local market where they sell real car replacement parts?

I'm going to need an ultrasonic cleaner now, too. The real ones, especially with heating, aren't exactly cheap, though.

@@dmrcflyr2 Thanks. Now I just have to find something comparable in Germany ;). The last time I looked they were around 10x this price. Those were laboratory grade, though.

Coming from someone who has no videos associated with your username. Just an FYI, I replaced all parts that the customer requested. That is what is supposed to happen, right?

How much do you charge to do the same for an os 50 sx h ring? mine moves freely and still runs great. But have had for 15 yrs may be time to replace the bearings.
