Had one flew a cub cadet with skis sounded like a sewing machine quiet, I had a lot of joy from that engine low and slow very reliable.

This is a nice motor. I run it on a Robbe Charter. As you have noticed you need to almost flood it to get it started. A flick against the compression can be enough to make it run. I get best results with a fairly high tank position plumbed as a uniflow tank. I hope you got the bearing fixed.

Can this motor be run inverted?

I don't see why not. Many people run glow engines inverted, but I am not one of them.

@@dmrcflyr2 I had an O.S. 1.20 twin. The instruction sheet said that the motor should not be run inverted. I thought it might be a lubrication issue. What is that little hose fitting on the back of the crankcase for?

@@earlyhemibill You are responding to this comment 2 years later???? Of course the 120T should not be run inverted. Why would you want to? Look carefully at the fuel plumbing diagram in the manual. If inverted you are placing the carb WAY too high to draw fuel. I see no need or benefit to ever attempt an inverted installation of a twin cylinder engine.

@@dmrcflyr2 I started building a B-29 about the first time I talked to you. Have bought all 4 OS .40 Surpass motors on ebay and none of them had an instruction sheet with them. Am looking for a more scale sound than a 2 stroke will make.
