From the Philippines. our experience in asking for direction in japan. We have a good impression on Japanese norms. In asking for direction specially we are foreigner ... two ordinary people we ask for direction go out of their way and accompany us the correct train station. the other to the bus station... Other country we visit ... they will just say.. READ THE DIRECTORY.. or use your google maps.. But in Osaka.. japan. its different people are not Rude. well not all.. but never encountered a rude individual in our short stay as filipino foreigner.

When I go shopping, sobrang polite and maasikaso yung mga Japanese. Sobrang ganda din ng public transpo nila. Sarap ng food and maayos yung bansa nila. Kakainggit.
