No, its just money fight. No legacy for missing weight and not getting the belt. He never beat haney the 140 champ to become a new champ by fighting at the signed 140 deal. He cheated his way to victory by aiming to make 143.2, he never aimed to make 140 from the get go, so he never failed to make 140, but succeded in making 143+. Oscar does everything he can to put on fights when his fighters are in their prime against other guys in their prime. Thats how he fought and that's how he promotes. The only way the fights dont happen like that is when the other side is unreasonable with negotiating like rehydration clauses and unfair splits. De la Hoya makes his fighters the face of boxing the right way. He did it with Canelo. Now he's doing it with Ryan and Munguia.
