Fun facts: - Michelle Yeoh and Halle Berry were both winners of beauty pageant in their respective countries: Michelle Yeoh: Miss Malaysia 1983 Halle Berry: Miss USA 1986 - both actors were Bond's Girl: Yeoh in Tomorrow Never Dies 1997, Berry in Die Another Day 2002 - alongside the same Bond's Pierce Brosnan. - both actors made history by becoming the first Asian actress and the first Black actress to win the Academy Award for Actress in Leading Role for EEAAO 2023 and Monster's Ball 2001respectively. I love how Halle Berry was seemingly fated to present the award. Traditionally, the Best Actress in a Leading Role is presented by the previous year's Best Actor in a Leading Role winner. I thought it was quite symbolic seeing the first woman of color to win the award hand over the trophy to the second woman of color to do so. 👏👏👏

I do know that they belong to different races but was specifically categorizing them, as you say, non-whites to differentiate from other recipients of the same award. Cate should have won it. Hands down the best performer out of the 5 nominees. Michelle had the first Asian to win an Oscar award hype, history in the making stuff so she was destined to win. Michelle did a great job too but I feel like Cate should have won.

Everything Everywhere All at Once was described as therapy by someone online. It kind of was like receiving therapy. It doesn't seem all that serious at first, but then it is, and if you look back, one realises it is actually a serious performance.

Cuando ves que casi todas las nominaciones eran grandiosas, ves que no hay cuota de inclusión, Michelle Yeoh dio una gran actuación, al igual que Cate Blanchett y las demás actrices, pero Yeoh hizo muchos papeles en una sola película, hizo drama, comedia, artes marciales e incluso un pequeño cameo cantando, no es poca cosa su desempeño y el cast principal de la película es asiático con excepción de Jamie Lee Curtis, así que no, el Oscar fue más que merecido
