I wish I had a history teacher this enthusiastic, such a great guy and a pleasure to watch.

As a retired woman - you are a great teacher.. At home in Scotland in my day, teaching was a vocation and not just s stop gap before having kids. My teachers were mostly spinsters, and they without exception fired us up. Their dedication , professionalism and sheer joy in their subjects is still with me 100%. Teaching is a gift; you, Mr. Butchko, have that gift. Fortunate students. P.s.. Love the videos 👹

Mr Cbutchko you need to do a show on the History Channel or Travel Channel. These Nazi Germany history tour videos are among the best I have seen on here. You know how to teach history to students like a boss. Keep up the great work.

Hey man. Just found about your channel. I hope that you'll upload more of your tours... You're doing a great job: You have a lot of knowledge, you know how to deliver it well in your speech and how to mark a connecting line between each point in the tour. I hope that you will be able to visit Majdanek one day, since it is almost untouched: The soviets left it as is since the liberation. So there were scalps, bones and hair all across the camp. When the soviet union fell, these were all burred and the place went through some general polishing up. Still, everything there is complete. The crematoriums still have ashes in them, untouched. So I think it can be a very important place to see... But I guess it would require some modifications in the plan, being that it's closer to Lublin, and you have to take all the financial expenses into count. Btw, I'm not sure how the locals reacted to these groups. But when I went to Poland around 16 years ago, we were all actually ordered not to walk with expensive looking cloths/gear (Cameras/Glasses/etc'). Since some of those areas, like in the Warsaw ghetto and Krakow, were known for their poverty. Granted, the nature of our expedition was different, with ceramics in every sites and being followed by grandparents who survived the holocaust and all that. So we all had a certain type of "expedition shirts" that we made for the entire journey. But I assume times have changed over there. Regardless, this doesn't take away from the great guiding and teaching work you're doing.
