Күн бұрынSince it began the Oscars has provided hundreds of iconic red carpet moments. The nominees spend months planning their perfect gown, their accessories and their beauty looks in anticipation of millions of eyes watching them walk the red carpet before the ceremony.
Ahead of this weekend's 93rd Academy Awards, we've taken a look back at the best dressed of all time at the Oscars.
From Jennifer Aniston in Valentino in 2013 and Lupita Nyong'o in Versace in 2018, to Margot Robbie in Tom Ford in 2016 and Jennifer Lawrence in Dior in 2013, there have been some breathtakingly beautiful looks.

Y'all forgot Lupita Nyong'o's blue Prada ensemble from the 2014 Oscars, which I'm sure most can agree, was one of the bests of all time!!

@@WoSarvatraHain umm no? priyanka has always had a global reach, with quantico entering top 10 moat watched shows in us,Canada and 13 countries overall, the white tiger being no.1 in 60+ countries, we can be heroes being one of the most watched movies EVER on netflix, her haircare brand increases stock prices of target btw its available only in usa and her book being sold out within 9 hours in US ONLY. not to mention now she has the most no of brand endorsements among all south asian actresses

Harper Bazaar if you wanted to show the iconic dresses on the red carpet of the Oscars, show to us the looks of the 1930s with Bette Davis and Vivien Leigh and 1950s with Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and so many others. These are also the Best dresses of the two decades 2000s-2020s.

Heck yes! Where are the looks from 1999 backwards? Iconic women in iconic gowns were left off this list. Harper’s if you want to do a “best dressed noughties” list fine but this title is just plain wrong.

Angelina Jolie's 2004 gown by Marc Bouwer was one of my all-time favorites because of the fitting in front and especially the back but instead you can only see Angelina face here. sad. Chastein's black gown with gold is fabulous.

These things are always so subjective, but saying this is the best of all time is really stretching it, as it was heavily focused on dresses from the last 20-25 years. I KNOW there were great dresses outside of this timeline. Having said that, my favorites from this list were Emma Stone in Givenchy, Natalie Portman in Dior, and Freida Pinto in John Galliano.

2:03 Charlize Theron, Gucci 2004 Oscars. Timeless, clean, sleek, sexy ( the back is so beautifully done )She could wear that dress today and still be in best dressed. She won Best Actress that night. I bet theres a wall sized picture of her in it, with her Oscar. I know i would.

There are oh so many gorgeous garments in this compilation; however, I do miss a general lack of colours. I mean.... We have such a vast range of hues and wide spectrum of shades, tints and all. Why don't we see bright yellows, oranges, blues, greens etc.? It'd be lovely to see a vibrant mix.
