I saw a Tin Toy in a MacWorld in 87 and though I didn't know what it was I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go as an artist. I love Pixar. I remember talking to them on AOL back in the late 80's early 90's before they were making Toy Story. At that time I was using RenderMan and thought or suggest they make a RenderMan Hero. I had gotten into RenderMan through Swizel3D, MacroModel, ShowPlace and MacroMind ThreeD 1.2. also Typestry. Not so much Vidi Professional. I am an animator and soon a film maker. Thanks for this guidance.

''Inside Out' made me so happy, for the care and love that was invested into it... 'The Good Dinosaur' and 'Finding Dory' let me down so, so much...

damien park what he Will likely say about that is that any form of technology is only a tool to tell a story. If you could make the technology practically invisible, and not matter at all only focusing on an amazing story that touches people to the core, that's all that matters. Why else did Disney revisit hand-drawn animation for Princess and the frog, and a reboot of Winnie the Pooh?

This guy ruined everything ! He was in charge of Pixar and Disney animation and he blew it ! It's such a shame too because he was doing mostly a great job so I'm kinda pissed he did behave the way he did ! Both for the women involved and us fans of animation !

Everybody's Hero! Only one side of him! Its a fact under Johns leadership Pixar enjoyed rapid success that later faded. Imagine if the films john claims to have written were indeed stolen and not his, then his colleagues got fired as a result Jorgen Klubien and Jan Pinkava. Then John would actually be responsible for Pixar's decline, it would have made more sense to work with the author continuing the theme. That's another version of the story. The real story. Easy to be inspired but please do not trust this man with your work.
