Brownlow deserves all the accolades in the world - I hope he continues his vital preservation and documentary work well into the future.

I am so glad they give him more than 90 seconds before they "play him off". I've always felt it's an insult at the Oscars, since the big stars can blather on as long as they like. I don't think think the industry can begin to understand how important Brownlow is. Harold Lloyd, ah yes. . . Harold Lloyd! Stay tuned, everybody.

It's the governor's awards. A bunch of people speak on them and then they speak for a decent amount of time. It's a whole night. It doesn't have the constraints of the main ceremony.
