@@chancethadood They're fantastic as well but something about that Osees energy hits me harder live. Probably the two drummers that actually play off each other. Cavs is a beast but Eric was mostly there because it looked cool. Don't get me wrong though, they're both a blast.

They're actually two separate tracks played as one here. "Chem Farmer" is actually all instrumental which is why the singing starts late into this version as that's when it switches to "Nite Expo".

The garage/psych rock scene is having a moment between these guys and King Gizzard. An embarrassment of riches.

King Gizzard was influenced by Osees. John Dwyer the band leader signed Gizzard to his own record label Castleface Records before they founded their own label Flightless Records. King Gizzard would not be the band they are today if it weren’t for legend John Dwyer. He’s a madman

@Far Stox Don’t talk about originality. Both bands are insanely original. Dwyer and Stu are doing different things that haven’t been done. One is not better or more original than the other

@Far Stox You’re acting like Dwyer isn’t as prolific as Gizzard. Also Stu is still doing things that he specifically learned from Dwyer. It doesn’t have to be a Gizz can OSees thing. Two of the most original bands I’ve ever heard

@Far Stox If you wanna talk about about originality Dwyer is currently in like 6 or 7 bands. He goes from Jazz fusion, lo fi acoustic, to face melting. Are you even aware of all the projects he’s simultaneously working on?

Hell Yeah, thanks and happy you chose Oh Sees. I think you would like more of their stuff. You should check out their KEXP set or the entire Levitations sessions Parts 1 and 2. PS: the Chem in the song is short for Chemical. and John Dwyer, the guitarist, has changed the bands name around a lot, most notably, Thee Oh Seese, Oh Sees and OCS, just to name a few

John Dwyer has really switched up his sound quite a bit over the years. i had seen them @ SOSfest back in Austin 2017, finally for the first time. and then again @ red rocks. on 10/29 i'll be seeing them for the third time on my 25th @ hotel vegas for Levitations Fest. it's kinda like each record dips it's toes into another genre of music just a bit. their shows are fuckin crazy fun too. it's great.

Man can you react to Arka'n ? Their song escape is awesome...it's a metal band from Africa and the mix between metal and some African sounds is amazing !

Studio version is way better. There are sooooo many better songs to react to then this. But glad you got to react to them regardless and giving them much deserved exposure. You should react to Sticky Hulks
