He’s showing her there is another way not through fear but through a sense of belonging. People may hate how this show started but I see this turning into a much more enjoyable piece of Star Wars. Also lightsabers being actually slicing and stabbing weapons amongst weapons instead of glowing baseball is nice to see again

What’s funny is a few years ago in a deleted KZfaq video that rewrote the sequel trilogy this is basically how they wrote it but with Rey falling and them both not being redeemed (in an awesome way) in ride of sky Walker Kylowent inti exile but was helping to rebuild what he destroyed and Rey became finns padawan (the rewrite made Finn the mc going on the journey to be a Jedi) And Rey wasn’t palatines granddaughter

Well it contains two detachable blades, which means double the mechanical components. It's also more than likely built from scratch, and on top of that the actor of Osha is a pretty small woman.

@@bjrnthebootybandit Well he's saying the right things by being really honest. When he was with mae he deceived her but it didnt worked so he changed the tactic with osha by being vulnerable and honest and it worked with her though we may just see what will happen between them fully in ep 8.

What I don't like about the acolyte is how it's supposed to tie in a 100 years before the events of order 66. However, when you look at the timeline of the Phantom menace, they make it out like this when I have been a blip in the radar of the Jedi Order after a Sith just killed three Masters and several padawans.

aren't lightsabers supposed to be extremely hot? wouldn't that burn the skin from that close even if it isn't making direct contact?

Eh, lightsabers have held that close to people a lot of times without burning them (if it didn’t happen in the prequels it did in the clone wars), even if logically it should really hurt, so at this point they just don’t work like that
