Thanks so much. Passed my test today. Didn’t even do parallel park just the 3 point turn ( remember to signal every time you move) back park and forward park. The test was maybe 10 min. (They are so backed up because of covid). The route different but just watch your speed like the video. Did the test early morning so the hwy was solid traffic lol. If you fail don’t worry, you have until December 2022 to keep doing it even if it’s expired. Best of luck to anyone who is reading this

Just passed my G test today. Great video. But as most have stated, there was no parking, three point turns, or emergency stops. These are new changes implemented last year in order to combat the massive backlog on the driving centers. I myself had plenty of driving experiences in the highway and drove from Victoria BC back to Toronto. Biggest advice i would give in highway is simply follow the flow of traffic. Use the entire ramp to get to 100km/h. As I like to call it, pedal to the metal. Other than that, trust your past driving experience, get some practice by yourself, and always ensure youre looking around and always under control. You control the vehicle, not the otherway around

Had both my G2 and full G in Oshawa, examiners are super chill and awesome, for full G he cut it shorter and asked to go back to the center, said it was good from the start.

I just took my full G road test yesterday and PASSED on the first go! Thank you Evgeniy! First thing you need to do is arrive at least 20-30 minutes early, park in the numbered parking zone on the left side of the building, remember the spot number and bring your car info. If you’re there for the road test, line up on the left side (facing the building/or the shortest line), and let the key contact person know you’re there. You have to check in at the automated kiosk by entering your driver’s license, car info, and collect the ticket number for your appointment. Head back to your vehicle to meet your instructor at your vehicle to do the overall safety check. My instructor was very supportive and gave a sense of ease with every directive, and for that reason I have to give a shout out to Karl, thank you for sharing the test with me yesterday! On that note, remember, instructors are NOT out to get you or fail you, they’re simply there to observe how you drive and how well you respond to on/off road scenarios. It’s okay to say “Good morning/afternoon” and start a rapport before and during your exam, it’ll keep you calm and bring a nice temperature check. As long as you go by the books or the official driving site for rules and take on each instruction, you’re going to do great! Following online videos of what to expect is close to the route but there’s so many variations, trust your skills not what you’ve seen. You have time to correct yourself if needed, as long as you don’t drive off to the next demonstration, or that error WILL count. Good luck and I hope you get Karl!

Just took my G test. I passed on the first try! This video was really accurate. They didn't mention anything about switching to the right as soon as you take a left turn, so this video was very informative. Good luck to all future G test-takers, learn from this one!

Passed my G test on the first try! I've watched this video a couple couple times prior to my test. The route was different in some ways and I only had to do 3 point turn, no parallel parking. Get there earlier and drive around to get accustomed to the area! Good luck!

My friend was also doing the same test but funnily enough, she got a completely different route and did not have any parking on her exam. However, I had almost 95% of the exact same test from this video with a few exceptions of different residential areas. But everything else was the same. I also followed your video on how to parallel park and that is what I got. Plus I got to do it with an actual car rather than between 2 poles. Overall, thank you so much for this informative great video!!! But yes, to other potential exam takers, because of Covid, they may not do this route all the time. Also practice parallel parking with a lot of cars, because right now at the drive centre I did not see any pylons or poles to do it with hence you will either do it in a residential area like in this video or not do it at all.

These videos are so useful on what I need to be ready for. I completed my G at Oshawa today and passed on the first attempt! I fortunately was lucky and was only tested on my highway driving and residential area driving but no parallel, 3-point, or emergency stop! Might have to thank the covid back log for that one too. Around 7:00, the instructors advised that if there is a car in front or behind you while parallel parking, to just wait and let them pass. I did this and the instructor yelled at me for letting the car pass before parking. She said that if I just parked, I wouldn’t be in the way.

Great tips like always look when you're passing an intersection, automatically change to your right lane for driving (the examiner won't tell you to do this in advance), parking on a flat road turn wheel to the right (I always forget this), and remember MSB (mirror, signal, blindspot).
