As an innovation company, we sometimes think differently about our innovation process. In order to prove the performance of our prototype JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle), we entered the Baja 1000, a 1,061 mile grueling race in extreme conditions. Not only were we part of the 40% who finished the race, we won our way back into the competition for the Military's JLTV contract. We also tested electrification capabilities in this race as well.
