Күн бұрын

For years Osho has spoken to a worldwide audience on timeless issues such as meditation, freedom, love, happiness, and enlightenment. In these talks, the human mind is put under the microscope as never before, analyzed to the smallest wrinkle. In the process Osho exposes hypocrisy and humbug wherever he sees it.
"Be ignorant, accept that 'I am ignorant.' And from that point you can start the search." Osho

@David Mack The fact you express this reveals your inner doubts, because only the non obvious needs to be said in life. And I understand your confusion, because this man can be quiet destabilizing. On a side it is clear he has tremendous intelligence, but on the other side his life style can look quiet shocking. And it is where he has to be understood, Osho wanted (and he says it clearly) to break the mind, and for this he had to make himself a clown, to create such a contradiction that the mind can't get it. How can such a wise man collect 90 Rolls Royce ? But don't you see ? Why not 5 or 10 when it is more than enough? Because he wanted to shock people, with a clear purpose to get attention to spread his message and to break our mind pattern. We expect from a Buddha to live with great humbleness, to help the poor, to dress with a white robe. Osho tried to show great spirituality is not opposite to great material achievement. He wanted to join both dimensions of life, meditation and celebration, including of wordly things. He is maybe the only example of a guru who reconciled the two dimensions of life to make man complete. But if you can't get the contradiction, if you listen too much to your mind and not to your heart and intuition in spite of apparences, you'll miss the priceless teaching of this beautiful and unique master. Yes, he looks like a clown. And deepest truths in life are always revealed by clowns, because God loves so much paradoxes. A truth has to be deserved, and apparences overcame to access to it. "If he looks like a Buddha, if he talks like a Buddha, run away."

When you said those things about "dragging mountainous load of knowledge, burdening yourself unnecessarily..." I felt that. Because I am going through this situation right now since a long time. The curiousness and knowledge about so many different things have resulted into a clutter of thoughts. It is suffocating. I was just stacking up irrelevant information and thoughts. But now I feel calm after you made me aware about it. Thankyou Osho, my friend.

The Sagittarius represents the end of ignorance. Only by accepting ignorance can we truly see. Thus, what we call ignorance is truly our feeling of knowledge. Knowledge is what blinds us. In "Courage" Osho made a clear distinction between knowledge and intelligence. Intelligence goes far beyond knowledge.

Cute and definitely bright for a child to question this (I remember also having this thought), but while in fact a point and a line don't actually exist, that's actually the point. They are representations of dimensions within a vector space and are axiomatic truths. It is not hypothetical.

He just said in a way to let us know, that people have just got puzzled about god thing and they have accepted it just like a fool ( asleep ) who is not awakend yet about the reality. Feeling pity for the people who blamed Osho and they will never going to know the ultimate truth like majority of humans. Osho really did his best to drag out some of the people from a blindness and bad game of religion with the way of his speeches and lifestyle. Only the real mature person can undertand Osho. This is why most of the KZfaq views goes to non-sense and idiotic videos rather than taking and feeding this complex brain with the talks and knowledge of awekend one ( enlightened one ). Thank you so much Osho's family for coming up on KZfaq and sharing knowledge freely to everyone ( for those who really deserves, because they knows which way is to go in life ). Thank you once again🌼🌸

Fun fact : just the strap on Osho' watches had 31 karats of diamonds . I won't even go into talking about the bezel ,the rubies ,the quality of the diamonds, you can find all that on the internet. Suffice to say he was iced out on a level that today's rappers with all their talk about jewellery don;t even come close. He was on par with dictators and monarchs when it comes to the bling game! And the car game was in a league of it;s own with 93 rolls royces. He was literally balling on dictator/moarch level way above top billionaire level .

In Euclidean geometry, a line (sometimes called, more explicitly, a straight line) is an abstract concept that models the common notion of a curve that does not bend, has no thickness and extends infinitely in both directions.

In the case of euclid his brilliance lies in defining the essence of things like length without invoking extraneous concepts (such as breadth). It is a matter of absolute precision of definition which Osho does not understand. Obviously physical lines in the material world have breadth also, but euclid is defining the ideal case.
@noonesaidso6680

The ideal case would be a hypothesis no? Forgive me I am ignorant.
@alecmisra4964
@alecmisra4964 Жыл бұрын
@@noonesaidso6680 no the definition is not a hypothesis because it is true by definition of terms - Analytical (tautological) and not Empirical (hypothetical). Osho is simply not understanding terms here. Your ignorance is forgivable! A clearer example is the statement 2 plus 2 equals 4. This is NOT a hypothesis but a tautology, ie true by definition of the terms being used.

I've always thought about stuff like this. Stuff that is an abstract framework and doesn't really exist in the real world. Like perfect circles and spheres. Or how lines have width and 2D drawings have depth. It baffles me that a mathematician could have spend his whole life not once thinking of such a thing, until Osho talked to him about it.

People sometimes have a hard time admitting that they are ignorant of certain things. However, I find the greatest liberation one can achieve is to admit that they do not know with certainty that everything they've been told is true. To me this is a necessary admission if one wishes to search for true understanding. To admit that there are things we do not know is an honest statement which leaves room for the idea that anything is possible. Starting with a clean slate - free from all past impressions accumulated in our minds allows us to seek understanding from a perspective of experience rather than relying on blind faith. Taking this position allows us to view everything as it is without presuppositions. That is not to say that what we have learned cannot be considered - it simply means that what we have learned from others is different from what we have experienced ourselves. From here we can seek to understand ourselves and our world without polluting our views with what we've been told to believe. From here we can begin to see more clearly the forces involved in creating this phenomenon we call life. Seek to expand your view of the universe and creation by first accepting your own ignorance.

I love the depth of Osho's inquisition, but wonder why he didn't ask what the length and width of a 'point' is. What if we change the question to "Does the thickness of the line matter, or can we ABSTACT this to this to a line of any thickness?" The reason math is so useful is that it is not 'theoretical' , but rather, it is abstractable, and thus truthful.

In my school, the fact that Euclid's definitions were not, strictly speaking, true; was admitted from the very beginning. The teachers asked us to accept the definitions for the moment because one could then derive useful results from those assumptions. They also told us about non-Euclidean geometries one could study in college. In other words, merely asking searching questions was never considered a "disturbance" in my school. Neither did I ever have any such experiences in college.
