Or intelligence is easily explained as the capacity of understanding something/ a concept. It's not what you already understand about something, but rather to what capacity you are able to understand it.

@@wulfheort8021 Capacity of understanding something is still within the mind, so you are still talking about intellect, example: you may be able to understand math more than i do, i may be able to understand science more than you do, so which one of us is intelligent? or may i say which one is intelligence. Because we have different capacities in different areas. Theres also different understandings and different point of views. (this is just an example) I think its about how clearly are we able to see things, how aware are we, how awake. Everything we understand is within the mind. Everything we conceptualize is always in the mind. We are all born without a blindfold, but then we get blindfolded, its time to take it off

I love how Osho differentiates Intellectuals and intelligence! One sample is the school system producing intellectual, knowledgeable people.. In society, almost everybody's a cookie cutta' including myself! :( Only a few dare to be authentic, original. It makes me think that intelligence is how you respond moment to moment in every life's situations or being creative.

School doesn’t even reflect intellectualism since 99% of the stuff you learn will be forgotten once you have thrown it up on the test paper. All school teaches is your short term memory. How much meaningless information you can store in your head during a short amount of time to throw it up on a paper and forget everything the next morning. The correlation between intelligence and school is zero, and so is it with intellect, ambition, passion focus, determination, discipline, perseverance, resilience and character. School performance has got nothing to do with any of that, school performance has got to do with one thing and one thing only. Obedience, who can and who can not take orders without questioning, who can do what Simon says, period, without thinking reflecting or having any mind or word of your own. school is just an institution to create slaves and grades determines just that, who is and who is not good slave material. The more of a free being you are, the worse school results you will have.

Intelligence here is intuition and intellectual is logical. The logical mind cannot work without preexisting data, facts, and experiences. The logical mind’s function is just that to use pre-existing data the best way possible and come with better solutions. Intuition on the other hand is independent of data, it’s the ability to have an insight into problems and life without the need for any memory. Intuition is mother of all presentness and as a sentient being of this planet we’re all meant to be intuitive, that’s how we’re born, with real intelligence that can function presently and independently of memory. Modern societies want to create robots not full fledged human beings that have reached their fullest flowering.

When something is said and it comes from a deep place it remains very much new. Not like yesterday‘s newspaper completely uninteresting even the next day. Deep truth on the other hand in word spoken of written , as you yourself deepen it remains new , you could almost say, it content changed hearing it from time to time again . But what really changing is your level of understanding. Love and peace.

The mind feeds on the identities and the information in our memories. Intellect is a quality of the mind, therefore intellect needs information. Intellect is very powerful tool which helps us to discriminate between things helping us to survive in society. On the other hand intelligence is the quality of the self. The self is the one who observes activity of the mind. If one is able to use his innate intelligence he can access new knowledge which naturally comes to you without thinking.

Each moment is new . Hence, it has to be tacked at the same moment. Any preparations would be false. Preparation borrows from the past and the moment is new. To share with you all, I have been preparing to take admission in ftii( film institute) since 3 years. Like every other interview, I prepared for it, parroted good words, good answers but failed to clear . Hence forth for the next film school interview I didn't even prepare my intro. Absolutely nothing in advance. Not only the interview I cleared, but won scholarship as well. Living moment to moment with brutal honestly has an intrinsic value. Success or failure doesn't matter. Being truthful to yourself, to the moment is the real thing. Thankyou master❤

The soul is the container of the higher mind, subtle bodies. The soul is more than consciousness, it is the energetic body, that carries the higher subtle bodies, including all of the mind. The more in tune we are with the soul, the more excess we have to the mind, and all of its capabilities. When we have excess to all of the mind, by getting in touch with the soul, we are liberated, we can manipulate reality,matter as we please. We can tap into the mind here and there and perform miracles, or we can get in touch with the soul, and fully access the mind….

OSHO is a software update manifested before Earth had the hardware to host it at Global Scale. Now that many of us have experienced our truth, of which cannot be unseen, we are more capable than ever for this software update to be received. Some may require a factory reset (transformational unlearning) some may not hold capacity for this change, but it is here now.

I think intelligence can be observe or check by spontaneous actions, reactions by anybody to any problem, situation . Every child is born with some or a one special intelligence or skill. For ex.if you ask any question on any subject Osho he spontaneously answer that question on his personal own insight.

Intelligence is your natural quality and it has an eyesight to look into things and problems of its own. You can solve them in amazing ways. While intellect is borrowed and is a beggar. And beggars can not be emperors. They are destined to be slaves. Intellectuals are non-real individuals. So work on yourself and use your intelligence that is God-given. It makes you unique and will take you on your own unique journey.
