By far one of the fastest shiny hunts I've ever done. I came across a shiny gible on my first picnic reset. This was super helpful!!

This is pretty neat. My first full odds shiny was a shiny ditto in the olive fields near Cortondo. I'm hoping to find a shiny in Violet since I've started playing recently.

What if the pokemon you’re shiny hunting (mass outbreak) only comes out during the day? Can u leave the spot and shiny hunt for another pokemon, and then come back once it’s available to spawn again? Or will that reset it?

Yeah the Ground type sandwich here is a little off as so many different ground types spawn here, GL if you try the hunts :)

I like this, but I just don’t have enough of the Herba Mysticas. I just find it too grindy to get them, so I miss out on shinies. Good video though, Lee!

Unless you're working on a shiny dex, HM are overrated for shiny hunting. Outbreaks + shiny charm are still a very good method even without sparkling power.

@@Celis.C ive done like almost 30 outbreaks with shiny charm for like maybe 50 hours total and have not gotten a single one

@@zacharybecker8228 that's some really tough luck. I've gotten around 12-13 shinies without the shiny charm in my Scarlet playthrough. That took a couple dozen hours and patience, but I did find them. How long do you typically spend resetting the pokemon in outbreaks?

Note, if you use a dragon sandwich at the gible spot in Violet, you'll see bagon too, but if you use a ground sandwich, you get diglet

You can also get a shiny Bagon here too with the Dragon encounter 3.

Having difficulty with the Salandit hunt. They keep spawning inside the cave walls. Like, half the spawns are in the walls 😢

Video ideas: - Teach people about the 'catch off-guard' mechanic. If you throw your lead pokemon at a target pokemon while it's facing away from you, you catch it off guard. This significantly increases the chance to catch it AND causes the target pokemon to forfeit its first turn. People keep rushing into pokemon head-on, false-swiping it and expecting to catch it, only to lose the target to recoil or self-KO moves. Excitement aside, this mechanic just seems to be unknown to a lot of people. Catch unaware, use Quick Ball / Spore + preferred ball. - Updated video on best pokemon to use in tera raids (5-6 star). Could also include some 'fun' builds that just mix up tactics.

My first two shinies full odds no shiny charm nor sandwich was. Charcadet and then shortly after I found a next of dragonites and did the picnic method and on the last pokemon before it dispersed was a shiny green dragonite I couldn't believe it. Then I found a random shiny magikarp when I accidently fell off a cliff 😂

I didn’t know shinys didn’t sparkle until you battled them smh I’ve been trying to get a shiny Leafeon for two hours now, with 1/512 odds. They look nearly identical, it’s no wonder I couldn’t find one. I probably drove by 5 looking for that sparkle lol

I think he is playing a copy of scarlet, because he’s not getting any Bagon, a Violet exclusive. If you do play scarlet, you might just not be in quite the right spot

There's a ton of pokemon I can't tell if it's a shiny or not because I'm color blind so I would have to battle them all so it isn't very fun shiny hunting for me

I actually learned recently that auto battling Pokémon is a GREAT way to tell hard to spot shinies apart from the others If your Pokémon refuses to attack a Pokémon no matter how many times you send it after it, that means it’s a shiny!

Hey Vincent, if you go to about the middle of the cave system and see a dip in the floor its just as the dip is on an incline where you want to set up the picnic, refer to the video. hope this helps :)

Use your brain. The cave absolutely allows to set up a picnic. You just need to find a sweet spot. This video is very helpful.
