The more that I ride my KTM 990, the more impressive all of this footage becomes. Until you ride these things through this sort of terrain yourself, it's really difficult to grasp exactly how much skill is showcased here. Cheers!

absolutely awesome, one of the best braaap videos i've ever seen, fast desert tracks, rock climbs and dunes, had everything. really rode those bikes like they were meant to be ridden. (can we have more exhaust note next please?)

Jealous! Looks a lot like eastern Oregon. Of course The Circus prefers Coors Banquet over PBR for desert camping, but we certainly agree on the fabulous 990. Excellent video.

You guys are bad ass! One question have any of you ridden the 1290R it’s only 8kg heavier [dry weight] wondering if someone with your skill levels could ride it through the same ballistic terrain lol I want one and have ridden one on the street but never on the dirt. I use to ride my KX 500 in terrain like this and even motocross but that’s not even in the same ball park.. You guys are killing it. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you very much. I live in Chile (Santiago) and I used to ride the DAKAR routes in Copiapo and Iquique but only in my Rally bike, Now I got a KTM 990 R and I want to do some of these route in this bike but I did not know wich tire were suitable for this bike.

I started riding trials 4 years ago and it's basically all I ride now. We still get together and ride, but not enough. Radek and Lica are getting into rally racing. In fact they'll be heading to Morocco soon to race 790's with the KTM factory team. Thanks for asking.

Are you guys running standard front suspension or have you put stiffer springs in?

Hi David, All of these bikes have had their suspension re-valved and re-sprung. Lots of effort and money to get them to ride like that. They're also all at S spec length 265mm.

What are you guys doing for wheels?! I don't want to buy a third set of stock wheels...they're just too F$%king soft and don't stay round.

Excel A60 1.6 up front is good and an Excel 2.5 or 3.5 out back. Lace them up yourself with HD stainless Buchanan spokes. Woody's will build them for you if you don't want to do it. The narrower widths resist bends much better, however you will give up the ability to run street tires with these rims.

Awesome, thank you. I'm not sure that I want to give up my 50/50 tire ability, as I have to ride many miles of flat pavement to get to dirt, but I appreciate the quick response. Keep up the awesome riding and filming!
