Agree 100%. I'm sure Jack's a nice guy in real life but man he makes you want to hurt him for all the pain he inflicted-except for of course the last episode when he surprised us all and shot the bad guys!

Jack Farthing is a great actor. The way he showed evil, cunning, crazy and emotional so convincingly was a joy to watch. Aidan Turner as the hero. Looks and acts the part so well. He should be the next Bond.

They left the final season open with so many questions that could be answered. I hope they decide to return with a season 6 and beyond. Poldark is a great series and I hate to see it end for good. Please bring it back.

@@StevenOsterstrom I have read all 12 books and totally LOVED them. But even at the end of the 12th book I was wanting more. The final book was rather open ended.........like the end of season 5, I wanted more historical fiction written by Winston Graham. They were soooo good.

@@JanisGStevens Winston Graham actually wrote a little know short story titled "Christmas at Nampara" which takes place just after the last book and wraps up a few of the open plot lines. It never went to print and was found in his notes after his death. I believe the only way to access it is to visit the museum in Cornwall that his son donated it to.

The best TV show I've ever seen. The casting and acting were impeccable. Very disappointed that it ended when it did. I'm really hoping the producers will reconsider and give us at least one more season.

I loved Jack Farthing in his role. I believe him to be an extremely talented actor. He hit the role expertly. It is not a natural role and it takes talent to be truly that obsessively evil. Thank you Mr. Farthing for your commitment to the role and the show.

There definitely needs to be more seasons. The series is absolutely fantastic. There was not one episode where I thought to myself “this is boring”. The scene in the last episode where George saves Poldark’s life was so out of left field and so spectacular at the same time. I literally jumped out of my seat and was clapping when it happened. George actually had a redeeming quality in putting loyalty to his country, which you would expect of a knighted man, over his deep hatred for Ross. It was one of the best things that happened in the series. Please do more seasons!!!

We binged watched the entire series!!!!! So many wonderful shocking surprises! The ending was just perfect.....terribly sorry to see it all end. Five stars across the board!!!!!!

Just got done watching whole series. Wish for more it was so great. Demelza was my favorite character. The actress played that part so well. The whole cast was picked perfectly in my opinion. To end it at only 5 seasons was a mistake.

I love Poldark!! I've watched it over about 3 times. I wish they would have continued the story, there were too many questions left unanswered. I hope one day they will reconsider bringing back another season to really final the series. One could hope :)

LOVED...THIS...SHOW!!! Demelza was hands down my favorite character, but Caroline was just breath-takingly beautiful 😍 I mean who didn't love Ross? And surprisingly, I did have a fondness for George Warleggan. He made me very proud in Season 5 even though it wasn't my favorite. I must say...I was a little disappointed that the love scene between Drake and Morwenna didn't get more emphasis. I couldn't not wait until she rewarded his patience, but then got let down 😭😭😭. Would love to see a Poldark movie with the current cast 🤞

I enjoyed the whole show. I just love Ross and Damelza. Their chemistry together was off the chart. The couple made me look at my personal love life in a loving way.

Tremendous. As an American, I say bravo to the Brits for such a great story, actings, music, costumes, camera work, etc. All of the characters were terrific, and my hubby and I like to impersonate the uncle. Prudie was wonderful, too.

One of the saddest parts is when Francis drowned, and when Julia died. Those Cornish people had it sooo rough in life, you have to admire their courage . The spoiled elite would never have lasted a full year in the conditions the ''common' Cornish people had to endure. Prudie is a love, Caroline with her stinging wit is really a softie, Dr Enys truly truly cares about his patients, Ross is a loose cannon but his heart is definitely in the right place, Demelza is true to herself, George is despicable but would have been a better man without that devil of an uncle whispering in his ear all the time, Verity is a sweetheart, Aunt Agatha is feisty, Elizabeth really does need to be pampered, but also has a good heart, Drake sees only the good in people, Sam loves the Lord, Jud lets the bottle rule his life. There are a few others, but this is getting long.

Poldark is the best series ever! Wonderful story, great actors, super music, but esp. an exceptional director and exquisite photography! Since I discovered Poldark, I regularly hunt for beautiful photos and then I paint them. Believe me, I have years of work to go. I love it! On Pinterest I even have dozens of files with only Poldark pictures… For me Poldark is never ending…

I'm a huge fan. I live in California but two years ago visited the UK, got to see Aidan Turner (!) in _The Lieutenant of Inishmore_ (he is *amazing* as a stage actor!), and visited Cornwall and took an all-day _Poldark_ tour-so that's how much I loved this show. I thought the last season was fantastic. I don't understand how anyone couldn't. It was exciting and suspenseful, and we got to learn about historical figures we'd known nothing about. I don't know how Debbie Horsfield did it, fitting her season five so it continued the previous books and the connected with the next books correctly, and it was unbelievably well done. She kept us guessing and squirming until practically the last five minutes of the last episode. A gorgeous series with gorgeous people. And the music!!!!!! I recently had some friends over for a weekly _Poldark_ fest where we watched it all over a period of months, and they all loved it, too, and were sad when it was over.

You said what I was thinking. I just wish that I could have gone on that trip.. I read all the poldark books back in the 80s. And watch the first poldark movie with my mother. So when they decided 2 remake the series I called my mother and we watched it together but from different states. I when in Iowa she lived in Colorado. My mother never got to see the last four shows because she was in a coma. So I would call and have the nurse put the phone up to her ear. So I could tell her what was going on. I cried all the way through the last show. Because I knew that in a few days she would be gone. But I was happy that she got to at least hear what was going on. I'm going to miss this show it was a wonderful experience. So thank you for enjoy the last show. Not very many people have. I'm happy that someone else has.

@@kelligettner1323 Aw, so sorry about your mom. My mother and I watched both series when they were running, too. Unfortunately, mine passed away at the age of 98 after the 4th season so never saw any of the last, and I think she would have enjoyed it.

@@wendyscott8425 She would ask me what had happened in the in the show. So she knew what was happening.. Since I was an hour ahead of her. Or she would call me when I was watching it and ask me so many questions that it would drive me CRAZY... I now miss that. What really hurt was that she missed the last of the series. She loved the show. She even played the books on CDs from the library. I'm sorry about your mom. I miss my mother every day. I still find myself picking up the phone to call her.. From one Poldark to another. I always felt like Verity.

@@kelligettner1323 Well, if you want another show that takes place around the time _Poldark_ ended, you might like _Bridgerton_, especially if you like your heroes tall, dark, and handsome._ :) It's not as violent as _Poldark,_ and there aren't as many deaths, which is nice. It's certainly a beautiful production! And it shows mad King George briefly, reminding us that Dr. Enys was supposed to have treated him later on after the _Poldark_ TV series ends.

Thank you.! I'll have to try and figure something out and see if I can find this series and see if I can watch it.. I would like to see this show. My mom also enjoyed Call The Midwife. I watched their Christmas specials over the holidays. But my mom really loved Poldark. I can still remember the first series. And when they were going to do the remake my mother was not really sure about that. But she came to really love it. I just miss those calls on Saturday nights to remind menot forget to call her to tell her what's going on. And how she would still ask me what time it was where I was at!!! ( Even though I have been living in Iowa for 22 years) It used to drive me crazy now I really miss it. Let me know where I might be able to get the series or watch it before I decide to buy it

I was disappointed with the way the show wrapped up. I read all the Winston Graham Poldark novels, so I felt the show rushed to a conclusion. My favourite on the show was Aidan Turner.

I was so disappointed that season 5 didn't follow the books at all. I too read all the novels and for the life of me couldn't figure out which book season 5 was following only to learn it "was not" a book. Season 5 disappointed me.

I loved the movie and I hated how it ended I want it to continue. Poldark is so handsome and I loved his role with his wife they were so good together as actors. I cried when it ended. I’m looking forward to him playing Leonardo.

I just watched Poldark for the second time. It was even better than the first! I would love for them to do a season 6 an 7 and 8 and so on!

I just binged watched the entire seasons while recuperating from some surgeries. I LOVED IT! The acting by Aiden and Eleanore was absolutely superb....although my heart beats wildly for Aiden, one can’t ignore that without Eleanore by his side something would be amiss for the two. I read a comment from one viewer that said Eleanore was the wrong person to play that role. I couldn’t disagree more....like Aiden, she is a top-notch actor and I would love to see them together one day in a season 6...PLEASE - Give me some POLDARK!!! They are worth every penny you might have to pay to reconnect them. There on screen connection was so powerful and I absolutely hate that the series has ended. Feel so empty without them in my life! Loved George, Dwight and Caroline, too. Each of the characters really played their roles to perfection....as did all of the wonderful cast (too many to mention). Thank you all for your dedication to the series! Please come back!

I am almost certain that all who watched this show, couldn't help but want to see more. I was glad to see that George came to Ross's side, as if to say...it is ok for me to hate him but I don't want any others doing so, also pouting, "Ross is my nemesis and I am not sharing this with anyone! He was such a brat through out the whole show, that I felt like the writers did a great job in having George save Ross at the end. George finally grew up. What an unexpected twist. Bravo! .....More episodes please!

I love this show!! My favorite character is Demelza!! She's so happy, rarely complains, smiles a lot and is an amazing wife to Ross, even when he doesn't deserve it!!

Yes I thought I was the only one who thought Ross sometimes didn’t deserve Demelza. I think he sometimes took her for granted.

Best series i realy loved..i hope there will be more season of Poldark in future😍 I can't imagine how hard it could be for actors to be separated after a 6 years of collaboration in a big project..i mean in some way their role will become a part of their real caracters i think.. so hard in emotional side of that..

I have been doing a marathon of all 5 seasons all week. Tomorrow morning I watch the final episode. Kudos to the cast for the escapism. I wouldn’t mind another season, just saying

I just loved this show. The whole cast is adorable. Dmelza,and Ross you can feel the chemistry between them. It would be so cute if they were together. I have a feeling if Poldark was to come back. They would play on the stories of the younger kids. Valentine was beginning to sound just like Ross. Lol

This was one of my favorite shows. I tried watching the old Poldark series to see where it went. I just did not care for it. It doesn’t compare, not the same. I think it ended okay, but yes, a bit cliff hanger, as they basically show him leaving again as usual. It would be nice to see their lives at a later time, as their children are older. I’m an Outlander fan, but must say, I thought Poldark was better, more realistic, and I loved the reality of the time period.

I think there should be a few more seasons of Poldark. I can never get enough of looking at Aiden Turner! But really, Ross and Demelza had kids, let’s find out how they grow up. The same with George Warleggen, he supposedly is raising two kids alone. Let’s find out how an emotionally immature, jealous man raises his rich kids. There’s plenty of story to root out!

I haven’t seen Poldark yet. I’m still going thru the DTs with the last season of Outlander. I do remember Aidan Turner from the British version of Being Human. He played a very sexy vampire
