Something about this song is that it applies perfectly to every part of the story. Evelyn’s pain when she thinks Rafe is dead, her grief when Danny dies for real, as well as Rafe’s grief at the loss of his best friend. It’s a song of both platonic and romantic love.

im writing or at least attempting to write things about myself and who i am in a journal to make sure i don't lose any more of myself than i already have due to what is very likely early onset dementia among other health issues and this song just happened to pop up in my head. it always amazes me how hearing a song from 20-30 years ago can bring back moments in life as if they happened yestereday.

When I was young I was in love with this movie because of romance and handsome Ben. But now as a film student, how beautiful cinematography is and How handsome Josh is. As you grow old your type also changes 😀

When I think back on these times And the dreams we left behind I'll be glad 'cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life When I look back on these days I look and see your face You were right there for me In my dreams, I'll always see you soar above the sky In my heart, there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me And everywhere I am, there you'll be And everywhere I am, there you'll be Well, you showed me how it feels To feel the sky within my reach And I always will remember all the strength you gave to me Your love made me make it through Oh, I owe so much to you You were right there for me In my dreams, I'll always see you soar above the sky In my heart, there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me And everywhere I am, there you'll be 'Cause I always saw you in my light, my strength And I wanna thank you now for all the ways You were right there for me (You were right there for me) You were right there for me For always In my dreams, I'll always see you soar above the sky In my heart, there'll always be a place for you for all my life I'll keep a part of you with me And everywhere I am, there you'll be And everywhere I am, there you'll be There you'll be 来源: Musixmatch 词曲作者:Diane Eve Warre
