This video was taken on marked multi-use trails, please do your part to keep ATV'ing sustainable in the future. Please pack out what you pack in and stay on the trails

Yes the trail is marked there, we have had very wet years the past 6 years now and what used to be dry trail is now slough as many of the sloughs and water holes have doubled and tripled in size covering alot of our trails, great in the winter as they freeze perfectly smooth. If you look at 4:30 in the distance you can see where the dry trail used to be....still there just under 3 feet of water

LOL, nice post...this vid was edited together from hundreds of hours of footage from 5 years of riding....and it's your choice wheather or not to wear a helmet, we do because not all of our trail is 2-3mph stuff. The edge of one yes, the trail runs along the edge which used to be dry...lol, The water levels are so high here in the last 4 years it's crazy, so much forrest and bush has been flooded out, trees that are 60 -80 years old are dead from being under water for 4 years in a row

@soldierofdirt81 We all pop the rear cover off that houses some of the bif fuses and fill that with di-electric grease. The fuse box up front is water tight but a little di-electric grease around the rubber seal would be fine also

Tow it to dryland. Stand it on it's back wheels to let the water out of the exhaust. Take the sparkplugs out and crank the starter to flush the water from the cylinders. Put the plugs back in and start. It's hard on the engine but they get going easy enough. Just make sure you bring spare oïl to change it ASAP.

As a fellow owner of a Can Am, great video compilation, I am curious though, as well as putting Dielectric grease on your fuses, is there any other protective measures you take to keep from poping fuses on your can ams, or damaging the fuse box itself?

You shut it off instantly, drain the exhaust and drain the oil a few times. At the worst case you will have to send it back for people to add a new engine.
@Ashton_Lackey
@Ashton_Lackey 7 жыл бұрын
Builderman912 wrong, you pull the spark plugs out and crank it over until all the water is out of the cylinder then you replace the plugs and it normally will fire up, then change the oil 6-7 times and your good
