Have you ever wondered where the Easter Bunny comes from? Or why it's often pictured with eggs?
The story of Ostara reveals the origins of the Easter Bunny and why we give and decorate eggs at Easter.
This video story was compiled using Pinterest to develop the storyboard. Please visit the Pinterest page to view the image sources. Images have been used in good faith, so if you are the original owner of an image and would like the Pinterest link updated, please send me the appropriate weblink.

Think you, beautiful story. I have been opening up my eys and soul to my Pagan roots and I now spend my holidays getting in touch with the real meaning behind the traditions and holidays. And it is amazing of just how much Pagan roots that is in a culture today that most people are blind to see

I'm also a storyteller and will be performing a different version of the Ostara myth but, yours is very good. I've been searching online for versions and stumbled upon yours. Excellent work! I'm very impressed. Your cadence is spot on, the timbre of your voice resonates, and one can easily feel the emotion coming from you. So much so that you enchant people and bring them to beautiful tears. Bravo!

When I first saw a hare as a child i was amazed at it's size up to the wild rabbits. I live in an area where the locals still clinging to their pagan roots were oppressed and called witches (just another word for wise ones) they were hung at Lancaster Castle in 1600s.

What you said about Ostara not being a morning person that wanted to put the blanket over her head a little bit longer yesterday we had a huge swath of storms from Canada all the way down to Louisiana and the guards are battling for earth to protect us humans of all the damage we’ve done to it including Odin Thor Vs TYR, it’s been obvious with the weather patterns including North Dakota and South Dakota getting an estimated 20 inches of snow in the last 48 hours the weather has been extreme and people on earth need to do something good stop the climate change stop fracking stop over fishing and killing the ocean send donations to sea shepherds. I appreciate you

Why is the word 'bunnies' misspelled in the on-screen lead-in? Glaring misspellings are always a red flag for me, when it comes to anyone's literary efforts. Like I wouldn't trust an architect to design my house, who didn't at least personally know how to hammer in a nail correctly.

As it is impossible for rabbit to come out of eggs ( as rabbit is viviporous n not oviporous), it can only be a man made story. People celebrating the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST hence should call the day RESURRECTION SUNDAY and NOT EASTER sunday because rabbit , eggs and easter is NOT at all related to the resurrection of OUR LORD n SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Blessed RESURRECTION SUNDAY to all!
