I had acute Osteomyelitis in my Femur , took years to get over. Abscesses etc. plus blood poisonings , dam near killed me. Doctors were very slow to diagnose in the early 70's. Would not wish it on my worst enemies.

I’m going through the same thing with my jaw! It’s hell I’ve been so weak and fatigued for 1.5 years I don’t know how to get them to properly diagnose me!!! I’m resorting to treating myself with antibiotics. It’s working but not as well as the hospital IV antibiotics I received

@@vlogcity1111 I live in the UK my last episode is many years ago, but I got Blood Poisoning from it. I started on the Monday morning not feeling so good, by Friday I was admitted to Hospital, a deaths door. Doctor said if I went home I would die. They put me on IV for 3 days antibiotics' I could feel myself improving. I agree 100% IV is the only cure or help.

I had osteomyelitis and discitis in my upper spine (neck area) in 2021. Symptoms began in September and I was not diagnosed until early December after MRI. Was hospitalized for 5 days and was put on IV antibiotics via PICC line. Was on a meds for about 10 weeks. Thankfully it knocked the infection out and it had not returned. But discs were damaged due to infection. May need surgery some day. The pain I felt for those 3 months was horrible. Included muscle spasms in my lower back and radiating nerve pain in my shoulders and arms. This infection is no joke.

@@stuartellner3172You describe what I have been going through since August 2023 to a T!! Currently in hospital being treated with IV Antibotics. I initially thought it was Sciatica and people assumed drug use.

Typhoid is caused salmonella typhi… in this video it said samonella can cause osteomyelitis

I have chronic osteomyelitis in the video you said only acute will feel pain. That is 100% wrong ive been in excruciating pain at least 3 times a week at !

yeah it's definitely wrong!! if osteomyelitis is chronic, it'll cause chronic pain as well. I have osteomyelitis on my jaw and it aches and feels so sore I struggle to sleep and go about my day.
