Carl and Debbie seem to be just fine doing things the old-fashioned way, where's two's company and three's a crowd. Today we make some much needed adjustments.

Lester, there are at least five ostrich farms in Texas. Why don't you call one of them and ask them the questions that you need answers to. We know you want the best life for the ostriches so why not go to the source to get the answers that you actually need. These are all family-owned farms and I am sure they would be more than happy to speak to you and answer the questions that are so detrimental right now. I hope you reach out and speak to one of them so that you have the correct answers to the issues that are going on right now on the farm. Good luck!

I agree...he cares about the ostriches. I do think Lester should be more aggressive with Carl. Not hurt him or anything like that but I believe he should let Carl know who is in charge. They are allowing Carl to be in charge and it might be adding to his aggression. I'm not an expert on ostriches at all but I do wonder how would Carl react if they hissed back at Carl when he hissed at them? I don't want to see Carl hurt but I really don't want to see the humans hurt even more. It's kind of like Tex. Tex is big and strong but they still make him go where he belongs when he gets out.

Male Ostriches that I've had that were treated poorly in there younger years, almost always end up aggressive. As your breeding season is only starting, Carl may become even more aggressive.
