Dr Leon Davies demonstrates how to perform applanation tonometry. This video shows you how to calibrate and use both a Perkins and Goldmann tonometer. Dr Davies gives tips on preparing the patient and obtaining an accurate reading.

My woman only ckean the tip with a wipe, she did it twice but the second time we didn't wait one minute and put it on my eye. However it that she also cleaned the chein area with it as well. When I mentionedif it was safe, she tole ppd me it wasand that I witnessing it. Now I feel the need to have another hiv test stat

Topical Anesthesia is used before performing the test.
