Each performer has two minutes to bring us the FIVE elements of vogue to a randomly chosen OLD SCHOOL vogue beat, e. g. Love is the Message, WTP, Cunty, The Ha, etc. We want you in all black & a pair of GLOVES representing one of the colors below!!! (One cash winner)
~ Legends: Gray/silver gloves

~ FQ: Purple gloves

the kids need to hear these beats more often at balls it will help them progress in the essence of their performance developing poise, musicality, grace, character, form etc...... so many were off of what we know as some of the simplest beats in ballroom, not able to fill the void when a beat was not available, some did pretty good, but in time if we keep playing this type of music as a base everyone will fall into place. Practice makes perfect

Ballroom scene is definitely like this, its not always like a formal pageant where there’s a set stage and audience space. You should definitely go to a ball if you have any in your area and see for yourself! Wear your most fabulous outfit even if you’re not walking, and get a feel for the energy there. Videos are great to document, but they can’t give you the same vibe of being there i promise you!
