Sir, my dad passed out of OTA Chennai. He was SS 15. Passed out on 29 Apr 1973. I made him watch the episode and he really got nostalgic. All course mates of his SS 15 course will convene at OTA Chennai on 2023 to celebrate golden jubilee. Truly bond between these course mates is stronger than blood. You truly do a great job. Thank you very much sir. Jai Hind!!!!!!

It's a wise thought they chose Chennai as the location cos It's generally a very energy sapping climate, which increases the physical demands of the cadets. I live just 6 kms from OTA. Every time I go past it, I see the tank at the entrance and feel EXTREMELY proud 🇮🇳 Jai Hindustan 🇮🇳

Sir, my dad passed out from OTA Chennai, He was SS 28. 79 commissioned. What a wonderful journey and memory. You still remember the names of your buddies. Now this is what we call a real team spirit. Guys this you will only find here. This is an experience of the lifetime. Although I am not a part of it but I can relate my self to this. And sir there is an auditorium named after a GC who died while running because of cardiac arrest. That GC was my dad's course mate.

I was selected for Gorkha Regiment, however just before medical test, I met an accident and was in bed for almost 2 months i got fracture in knees n the docs add metal in my knees due to which, my dream ended... Proud to b an Indian becuase of our Army... Real Heros.. I Salute. Jai hind.

Tamilians who hold like 1 param vir chakra, Late Major Paraneshwaran lost his life in srilanka under Indian peace keeping forces. Colonel D sriram from artillery served Assam rifles and knocked out ulfa terrorists for which he was Ashok Chakra and Late Major Mukund Varadhrajan Ashok Chakra 2 Rajput Regiment 44 Rashtriya Rifles sacrificed his life at sophian Jammu and Kashmir. I feel cursed cos I had an eye injury in school, which prevents me from joining army cos of the strict physical requirements. I wish I could go back in time and avoid that injury, for which I was not at all responsible for😥

Training wise OTA has huge difference from IMA which is visible. IMA has computerised shooting ranges, OTA lacks it.

I remember lt.col Srinivasan in Bareilly ....he was part of the PDP training organised by the Army....he told us that he was merit out more than 3-4times after that only he could join the IMA.

BHARAT MATA Ki Jai, Bole so Nihal Sat Sri Akal. I can still hear the voice of these slogans when we went for final exam for NCC C Certificate in 2002 in 20PB BTN, though haven't joined Indian Army but still an integral part of Indian Army and will serve to my Nation till my last Breath. I remember my Oath to serve nation during the time of Emergency and still kept myself mentally and physically fit to Blow the Head of Enemy whenever required for my nation. Thanks to all my Training Instructors to made me a Mad Man for my Nation. Special thanks to Major Arya for your continuous efforts even after Retirement. Please unite all the retired army personnel and civilians who have desire to serve our Country because this is the demand of the Time. Please ask them to teach and train every civilian( except traitors) and made them aware of the current internal threat to our Nation. We must have to make (Civilian+Army) Army to deal with Social Bads. I know you better know. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏

Very nice. I never saw it before. Actually my father was in British Army before independence and after that in Indian Army as JCO. He joined in army in 1940. He visited Korea in 1944 as UNO peace mission member.
