This time I have visited the Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple in Kyoto, famous for its unique collection of rakan statues.
You can visit the temple by taxi (5 minutes), bus (25 minutes), or foot (1 hour) from the Arashiyama station. I recommend by foot on the way or way back and feel the less crowded and peaceful Arashiyama area if you have time.
