Hearing about Jesus hardships and sacrifice always makes me emotional. To me that shows the deep connection we Christians have with God and Jesus. That just maybe, the fact it resonates with us so well is because it’s the truth!

I envy you! I'm from Russia, and I trouble with my faith because communism rooted out religion and my parents and even grandma never taught me Bible.

I'm guessing this is based on the book "Cold Case Christianity" by these exact authors. I currently have it on my reading list. I'd also recommend "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel.
