Two major problems. The crooks are in a firing range with weapons. They're all convicted felons. He could have busted them at that moment. That's a nickel fed time right there. They enter the bank with automatic weapons and explosives in the bank robbery. They could have stopped them and busted them there. Major fed time there. Made no sense.

I remember watching this whole thing on TV at like 4 am, I was bored and surfing channels and saw this and figured I'd put it in the background while I do stuff on my phone. 2 hours later and I was so engrossed into it. A really good silver screen movie.

1)most of them are ex military depending on their jobs they were taught how to make,repair and maintain guns 2)bullet proof vests are not regulated super strictly since they can’t harm anyone 3)they had been planning this for a very long time meaning the equipment could have been secured over a matter of year or even decades

The main reason you go to the theater is to be entertained. A movie that describes itself as complex or thought provoking i would usually watch at home unless i know it's really good just to make sure i haven't wasted my money on a shity film that tries to hide it's weaknesses with symbolism

The bar where Donnie worked was right across the street from the Federal reserve. Federal reserve employees were regulars at the bar, that's how he got the Access cards. The photo of the soccer team shows all four of them together, Donnie, the two dump truck drivers and the electrician tapping the phones, so they were in it with Donnie. It also shows a scene where Donnie would walk up to Ray and see the whole layout of the building and the whole heist scheme, so he knew everything that was going to happen but had his own plan for the money, he hid it somewhere else and he knew Nick would catch up to the robbers and kill / arrest them, but the money was already somewhere else, that's how Donnie got away clean with all the money.

i really liked this movie. i was gritty and down right mean. a bit over the top but its an 80/90s era action flick with a 2010s era R rating. looking forward to the 2nd one. Sucks Pornstache wont be in the new one. I think he does a great job in these rolls
