Verbal's confidence to do whatever feels natural to him is awesome. Those shades dope as fuck. I don't know any Japanese, but I've listened to the m-flo albums and I love em. His style is just crazy. I can remember watching videos on youtube of the cosmicolor tour, and to see him now is a complete 180. Nice to actually listen to an interview with him speaking English though.

m-flo's older stuff was better imo but his newer stuff aren't too shabby too. m-flo's image sure has changed drastically over the past few years.

Yeah I've been hip to Verbal since middle school. M-flo and Teriyaki Boyz used to be two of my fav j-pop artists. I always get annoyed when people act as if listening to music from others countries is weird, but it's like he said: good music is good music.

yeah, Verbal is THE ICON of new stye in Japan, I love his style, and music, I think He and M-FLO deserve alot more

I'm so happy to see this video! I've been a fan of m-flo for years (12 am feat. Alex; love to live by feat. Charo; lovebug feat. BOA) and I love j-pop. I really agree what he stated about music that good music is just good music. To him there isn't really a genre and that's how I am too. My friends call me white girl or Oreo cause I'm a young black woman who likes what I like and doesn't fall into that stereotype of how most people view African Americans or Afro Americans. I'm so glad to see him

EXACTLY! Pharell was rocking cool before cool was cool, and nobody seems to give him credit for that. He was kickin it with Verbal, Teriyaki Boys, and NIGO WAY before anybody even HEARD of BAPE.

I remember early 2000 Pharrell came into the rap scene with this style that hasn't been done before in Hip hop/ Rap with his fitted clothing and Japanese brands, while most rap artists were rocking the baggy t shirts and jeans with du rags etc Now the style has been completely flipped and every artist seems to copy or take influence from Asian and European styles.

not that crazy of a fan, but I did like that track that kanye did with the teriyaki boys, M-Flo x Crystal Kay (CK, mmm) & that now or never track he did with chemistry.
