actually nevermind about what I said about Fall Colors. there was no issue with that one being released on schedule, but it seems as though there have been issues with this track, seeing that it came out three weeks after the previous one instead of the normal two weeks. But something I've never fully understood is why the schedule from every Friday changed to every other Friday earlier this year.

I'm not Otis, but hopefully I can answer your question. There was a release mixup with his digital distributor, Distrokid, which is why this track came out one week later than its intended release date. As for the new biweekly release schedule for his tracks, Otis himself said he wanted to try something new for his songs in 2023 to see if releasing new music every other week as opposed to every single week would affect his streaming numbers. To his surprise, the numbers actually increased as more of his song landed on playlists and more new listeners learned about him. As of now, he's sticking to his new schedule. I can't lie and say that as a fan, I prefer the weekly release schedule, but I do understand that from the perspective of a working independent artist, you inevitably want to choose the medium which will bring you the most revenue.
