MAN!!! When Otis sings, "MEAN OLE FIREMAN and a cruel old engineer" you can hear the heartbreak and passion come right thru your heart.

私は80年代、新宿厚生年金会館でバックをブレイクダウンが務めるコンサートに行った。 さぞかし声を振り絞ってシャウトするのかと思いきや、涼しい顔で極自然にあの声を出すのを見て、 本当にびっくりしたのを、昨日のことのように思い出します。ありがとう、グレイト・オーティス、 ブルース・マスター！

actually the greatest. If we want to factor in the emotional, hell-raising spell of anguish, sorrow, passion & heartbreak that the pre war bluesmen could convey, then Otis is the greatest, period. Nobody reached those depth. 3 kings or T Bone or whoever. Only Otis

So I put this on as background music so I could get things done... and I spent the next hour just looking out my window, what a beautiful day... and that tone, my god, those short riffs. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better.

Yep- he started every show with that tune. And I'm pretty sure some of the tunes on this re-issue of the original Delmark album have been edited down from their original versions...?
