Perhaps the lady upstairs is a shared hallucination caused by the mold that is growing on the ceiling. The shape of the mold might influence the form of the hallucination by resembling long fingers. Just think that would be an interesting theory, but then again a straight up demon lady is pretty creepy on her own XD. Great job as always, Otis!

Mr. Jiry has reminds me so much of my dad. I was surprised to learn he is not originally from the Southern USA. He spins a yarn like my southern father and uncles. Love these narrations and stories! Once, my dad told us about how his dad and grandfather had to fight off some cowards hiding in white sheets threatening their farm. He told the story in the same way Mr. Jiry tells a story. Intriguing.

Hello. Do you guys know any books in the similar vibe to creepypasta? Preferably with the atmosphere but not the gore. 'Trying to fetch some gifts, and the person in question is a big fan of the Paranormal Activity films, so I was hoping you guys could recommend something. Think stuff where the scares come from what you don't see, rather than what you do.

The ghost stories of M.R.James are wonderful supernatural non gorey tales. Usually set in an academic setting with Professors and Vicars digging up ancient secrets. The best ghost stories and a must read for anyone interested in the genre. I have many in my audio books playlists if you cared to look.
