I have the same case for my 14 pro and while it protects I have noticed friction from the case causes chipping of the black frame.

Do it with the Mous case! I have, with my Note 20 Ultra, and it has done really well over the past two years.

This is pure horror content. Even my 14 Pro Max is shaking in panic, in it's Pitaka Magez Pro case.

Have my CASETiFY which look way cooler, you are right Defender case is outdated but will 100% still do what it’s supposed to do. My worry is what kind of the beating the internals get.

I have a casetify also but do you think it will hold up just as well as an otterbox? I am curious since casetify doesn’t have protection on the charging port and looks a little thinner than the otterbox series

Depends which castify case you are using , I had the ultra impact and the bounce is also great, I prefer these than OtterBox and Mous .
