Imagine if the devs behind this game actually put in a random loadout option and it has that slot machine look. That would be AWESOME

Actually, dagger and dash is an exceptionally good combo. You can perform a tech called Akiba step. It allows you to dash through someone and strike from the front, yet the game will consider it a backstab due to how knife is coded. Where it checks player location when the attack connects to confirm whether or not it's a backstab. It's a lot better then stealth once mastered since stealth backstab is highly inconsistent.

Grenade launcher just forces you to attack from different angles and places, but you really need C4 to make it work, you need to make your own path to shoot into on your own terms. It can be very fun with the right load out/team.

The bounce on the grenade launcher is absolutely horrible 😂

Medium GL with mines is a blast. If you get a read on people chasing you around a corner you can throw a mine and a GL shot and one-shot a Light, or leave Medium one-shot. Then gas mines to protect the point and you can use them as gas nades because you can blow them up with one shot.

first loadout is actually pretty good im using it (if you're face to face to enemy you can right click then dash immediately to go behind the enemy then one shot its works somehow)

I play ninja-like The Finals, knife, smoke, flash, invisible/dash its high risk high reward as you can make crazy plays, pretty good to get clips

Heal beam, riot shield, defibs, glitch mine, flashbang. In solo bank it.

for first glance i thought the random wheel for gadget is actually exist in game....

Pyro nade detonates on contact and burns through objects and players behind cover. I've used it to defend the floor below the objective and throw it on the ceiling when someone tries to cap. Its not great but at least it has some uses

I would enjoy seeing more of this for sure😂 great way to see styles of play too

If you want a pretty bad but really fun lode out try Medium with healing, the riot shield, the zip line, the jump pad and the defibrillator. It’s a hell of a time. And you don’t want to run healing you can run it just fine with turret as well :) love the content and keep it up!!!!

An interesting loadout which i saw both of my teammates using is mesh shield, flamethrower, pyromine, dome shield, and pyro grenade

Love more of these gameplay type videos - also as far as I’ve seen in my testing, the dash makes your hit box a lot smaller then normal. That’s probably why you felt like the dash had “aim assist” on it

when you pointed out the grenade launcher Nades exploding after the initial first bounce. Somehow seems like they took a marginal amount of inspiration from Overwatch with a lot of the tech in the game.

I’ve been playing heavy since open beta and I would challenge you to try the sledgehammer with mesh shield, frag, explosive mine, and flash. It’s a real struggle without range, sustainable cover, and any mobility utility but I think you can do it

I feel like the grenade launcher should have a secondary fire making impact Grenade but it's slightly reduced damage. Replace the aiming because no one aims with it

Dash behind the enemy and strong attack (backstab), it's like 340 dmg (auto-kill) on all weight classes.

Jokes of them, knife & dash is my current loadout lol. Start a dash and mid wake start back stab right click to back stab other players, very tricky but so much fun

They need to make the grenade launcher like the softball from Titanfall 2

Personally I think the grenade launchers should be more destructive to buildings makeing them serve a better purpose. Damage is already low and they can be completely negated by the aps. But having the ability to open a hole is allways nice and better chances they are clustered together in a room.

legit the first loadout is my light build.....guess thats why im suffering. Also a fun build is: Medium, Grenade launcher, jump pad, exp mines, gas mines, recon senses. Basically junkrat from overwatch. I know its not realy bad but its fun.

Dash dagger is incredibly strong if not the best, but you have to know how to use it. Otherwise its not viable. The Akiba step is the best thing to learn using dash dagger.

Watching the launcher games. I think I saw some cases of your grenades bouncing off the enemies. If they made it so that they actually detonated on contact with an enemy, probably be a lot better and harder to rush down

Question, what would you consider good with the dagger? I want to get good with the dagger and would like all different ideas for it. Current I use dash, stun, glitch, and invis bomb with it.

Honestly the grenade launchers projectile should not be affected by aps. I don't know what the devs were thinking.

Personally I think if you have a mid healer with a gun and a mid with a turret then grenade launcher isn't that bad as a heavy player 😅

To me the dagger is the worse weapon in the whole game. In a game where people are on alert 24/7 using the dagger has the sole purpose of being behind the enemy. You'll see clips out there with the dagger going nuts but how long does it take for you to get those kills? Even with invis it's still hard to get a backstab and if you miss the charge attack the basic attack does just 50 damage which is pretty awful compared to the sword or really any other weapon the Light has. The dagger needs to do at least 60-65 damage in the light atttack and a faster charge on the backstab, to me that's the only way it can be concidered a good option.

Honestly, I have to give some props to the devs because almost nothing in this game feels useless. Nearly everything has its place and serves a purpose. How generally useful everything is might not be the greatest, but there is a way to leverage just about everything, though some really need synergy with your team and the right enemy loadouts.
