Normally I don’t mind leaks but still try to avoid them. I heard the entire anniversary was leaked and avoided anything that looked like it so I was genuinely surprised by everything presented, but most people already knew what to expect. That was supposed to be half the fun with the anniversary, the surprise element and the wonder. The wait for the ptb is also very annoying and has been making me a little stir crazy.

Remind me of a Hag, putting down their own form of teleportation that gets triggered by survivors. Along with whatever the infection may do, maybe like Plague or Wesker where it hinders them or like Skull Merchant where it provides more info and tracking

@@Cosmos6745 maybe, i mean at this point do you have any ideas of completely new powers that would thematically fit into the game and that would actually be possible for them to put into the game in a timely and cheap enough manner to be worth the trouble

@@Cosmos6745 no doubt, but when the people complain as much as they do do you honestly think they are super excited to try something really big and different right now? How many people have you heard say “I swear after Knight and Skull Merchant if this next killer is a flop I am quitting for good” it’s all about the money first and foremost as a business. I think having different killers with different spins on certain popular or largely different powers is a safe and amazing thing. I mean do people complain in Apex Legends when a new Legend’s power is like a mix of like two others? No where near as much in DbD

@@Cosmos6745 It's not really reuse so much as a bit of overlap; Hillbilly and Oni have extremely similar powers that are very different in execution, Hillbilly and Bubba both have instadown chainsaws but because they move in slightly different ways they're distinct, myers and ghostface both stalk people to inflict exposed but with different details that make them very different to play; new spins on existing power types still create novel killers, and the Singularity's power is actually completely new, it just bears minor resemblance to Hag and Plague

This would have been more exciting and enjoying, especially the trailer if leakers did not spoil it because them and the community could not just wait for a few more days and then here they are showing off the fantastic work they have done that were spoiled by the leakers. That was just disappointing for the leakers but exciting for the actual anniversary broadcast

Survivor now gets deliverence base kit along with BT....can killers just please have god damn shadowborn base kit at the very least...

but deliverance is strong because it allows a survivor to unhook without a teammate, not because it prevents camping, the basekit hook-escape would only ever apply in face camping or similar situations

Remember, this SCI-FI horror is a big thing judging by how they emphasize it, so that probably means that the next two BIG LICENSED kilelrs are sci-fi as well. Could be Alien, Terminator, Predator. Any other ideas? OMG Darth Vader would be so dope :P

The new killer already nerfs himself automatically. The pods require surfaces to connect with assuming you can’t put it on the floor. Indoor maps will block the pods reticle line of sight. Cornfield maps hard counter it. Any map with too many line of sight blockers as well. The pods are better off triggering when survivors enter it’s proximity rather than being controlled.

you’re think of this character like Huntress or Deathslinger, he’s more of a set-up killer, meaning Line-of-sight blockers are much less problematic because you can easily set up around them, unlike Huntress who has to deal with them mid-chase. Plus, there’s zero reason why the pods wouldn’t be able to be placed on the ground even with how dumb BHVR can be sometimes

His power seems to be quite decent for finding and chasing survivors. So even if there will be some nasty killers who take the game hostage, the majority definitely wont play them that way.

3:39 There's those shit half-baked glidey Killer animations we all know and love from the company that still hasn't grasped the concept of running animations 7 years into it's game's lifetime. Remember the last 2 chapters, don't get your hopes up. I'll be pleasantly surprised if this reaches the lower end of standards other Asyms have set but been overlooked under this game's huge ugly shadow. If it's something genuinely good and well thought out I will take this comment back. Based on the animations already though.. Low quality like most Chapters.

The leaks forced the devs to play the livestream a couple of days earlier than intended, so it’s not that the ptb got delayed, it’s just that we have to wait for ptb despite them repeatedly saying that it’ll be available right after the stream

@@zwergz1122 leaks did nothing. The live stream was prerecorded and was meant to show on tomorrow. When it ended then the ptb would accessible. But he’s saying they would’ve been playing right then if the leaks didn’t happen

@@IXIKAYAKOxSAEKIIXI Oh cmon , i think it was pretty clear that he was saying that if leaks didnt exist we wouldnt have this livestream yet , but livestream and ptb would be the same day , now we are hyped by the livestream but have to wait days before testing the new chapter , so if leaks didnt exist no one would have to wait to test , so they would've been playing right after the stream and be able to test it with the hype .
