I have to confess. I am an OU fan, been one all my life. When they lost in early October to Iowa State, I wrote them off. I said, there will be a new Big 12 Champion this year. Well, Iowa State almost proved me right. OU has shown many times what kind of character they have when their backs are against the wall. Remarkable. This was well before my time, even my brother's, but they started off 0-5 in 1961. Wilkinson predicted they would win their last five games. They did and finished 5-5. That is a testament to Wilkinsons character & ability to hold that team together. Some coaches are blessed w/ that ability. A coach is a leader. If Riley can hold this team together, in the next two years, maybe three, there will be another NC trophy at the Switzer Center. Saban is not unbeatable. Neither is Swinney. NOBODY IS.

@@jcarreon1983jc UF had 3 losses before playing OU. One was 41-38 loss to #5 TAMU, one was 37-34 loss to LSU after they decided to sit Kyle Pitts before the game. And the last was a 52-46 loss vs #1 Bama. Kyle Pitts is 25th in the country in receiving yards per game and was 3rd in the country in TDs per game. His side kick was 30th in receiving per game and averaged nearly a TD per game. So off top,, two of the top 30 bezt receivers in the country. Together those two averaged 185 yards and 2.5 TDs per game. His other 2 that were gone account for 90 yards and 1.2 TD per game. In total he was without his top for receiving options that account for 275 yards and 3.7 TDs per game. Who in the entirety of football, with less than 10 days to prepare, would be good enough to match up with a team when they have, zero run game (all year), shit defense (all year), and the one thing they relied on to win (all year), was insanely and insurmountable-ly (yes that's not a word), depleted??? Listen, I don't care about Florida, but I will defend teams and players when they are just stuck in a hard place regardless of who they are, even Bama, who I hate. @@conservachick100 who? Shepard, Westbrook, Lamb, Brown, Andrews? Speed, technique, experience, and physical prowess all over the field. Also, YOU STILL ARE NOT GETTING IT!!!! Take your top 4 receivers away TEN DAYS before you play a top 10 opponent, while you have a 90s ranked run offense and a 70s ranked defense as your only compliment. Dude was forcing plays and misjudging timing with his receivers. Again, I never said Trask was some goat player, but he was good and made a lot of good defenses look bad when he had his guys. I can not fathom why this is so hard of a concept to understand.

At one point in the broadcast, the announcers stated that Trask had scored a passing TD in every game of his career. Last night he continued that streak... Of course his one passing TD was to OUr guy, but....
