I definitely understand where Snow is coming from. Ultimately I think I'd have gone with Regina's plan, but looking at it from Emma's view vs Snow's view makes sense. To Snow White, they were doing something evil in the name of good. That's usually the easy way out and the times that Snow has chosen the dark path she's regretted it immensely. She doesn't want Emma to go through that. It's like lying, it hurts at first but it gets easier each time until it's second nature. Also, the lost boy is technically a child, he never grew up, he's not refusing to help them because he's evil, he sees them as the enemy and sees Pan as his leader. Snow isn't being stupid here, but she is being emotional. However, I'd argue that she's being less emotional than Emma and Regina who are out for blood.

This is such a dark moment in the show, and yet it’s played off in such a inconsequential way. I mean, he’s a kid, and Regina rips his heart out in such a way that makes me think she’s done it before. Not to mention the fact that Emma allows her to do it and has to physically restrain Mary Margaret

This shows why Regina is my favorite character, why Emma is my third favorite (Rumple's second), and why Snow is boring.

I hate to point this out to Snow, but doing things the "right" way never seemed to work for anyone here. Snow would rather sacrifice her grandson than do anything which could be considered wrong... One of my most favorite fairy-tale characters became increasingly boring, stupid & annoying in this serial.

This proves just how bad a mother Snow is. Mothers do EVERYTHING in their power to protect their children. That is litterly the LAST thing Snow does. She uses, abandons and trades them. She could of kept Emma and gave her a good life is only she let them kill Regina. She could of done A few other things, but her doing good was put above Emma. She sent her away in a wardrobe and when she had the chance to get her, she closed the door, for her people. They weren't even that miserable. Granny and Ruby were together. They didn't remember their past lives and that's what they were. They were new people with their own memories. When Emma broke the curse, Snow did everything against her. She had another baby because she didn't get to raise a Emma. She can have a redo, but Emma can't. Emma grew up alone and in pain because Snow just wanted to be good. In my opinion, Snow is even worse than Cora. Cora may have been a horrible person, but she wanted the best for her daughters. Even though she abandoned Zelena, she kept track of her and stopped her father from hurting her. Cora wanted to give Regina the life she never had, which is why she forced her to marry Leopold (who is even older than Cora.) But Snow abandons Emma every chance she gets. In neverland and when she was willing to be in the sleeping curse forever just to be with Charming. She is seriously the WORST mother. She puts EVERYTHING and EVERYONE above Emma. I can't even describe how angry that makes me and the boy was a lost boy. He was their enemy and it was Regina ripping out the heat, not Emma. And she only did it to get the message to Henry. Regina returned her heart to the boy. Snow acts like she is still in fairytale land. That everything will turn out perfect if your just good. But Emma grow up in the real world, alone and surrounded by pain because Snow wanted to be good and not fight for Emma. Emma gave away Henry as a baby as she was a teenager and still in jail. But since she grew up in the real world, she knew she had to do whatever it takes to protect Henry. Unlike Snow, who put herself, Charming and her people above her children. She even did it to baby Neal. Snow White is littetrly the worlds worst mother. No character upsets me more than Snow White.

Snow is just too annoying in this scene, her and charming "goody goody' act is just so intolerable, after what she did with Maleficent's child and Cora, this kind of behavior is nothing but hypocrisy. At least Regina was always honest about her feelings and so as Emma.

I have to laugh at Mary Margaret crying at this. It may be regret, but this is the same women who took a baby before it was even born, believing it was going to be a monster just like it's mother and ready to 'kill' it. honestly the first 3 seasons were just soooooo amazing .. I’m sorry I hated season 4, season 5-6 were good but not as good as 1-3 and 7.. I can’t stand 7. I can’t even bring myself to finish it because it’s just terrible.

It’s funny how Snow thought Emma will agree with her when she knows that Emma grew up alone and her wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows and that she grew up seeing worst in people Also Snow and David are the biggest hypocrites in the show. They talk about not darkening their heart or doing evil deeds, but they are the ones who kidnap babies, and then leave poor mother think her child is dead for 28 years. They are the worst people ever. Snow is responsible for Daniel’s death. I know she was a child, but like Regina asked you to keep this small secret, and you go around blabbering about it. I don’t even think Snow ever said sorry for his death. One more thing, why is this lost boy’s heart is so pure? Why is it not darkened by the evil deeds he committed?
