I am almost disappointed that this match was so short and such an easy victory for world's #1 Tai. She wasn't challenge very much, she could have played even better if she needed to, and that should be scary enough for her opponents. I think Tai got into Marin's head and she is going to be obsessed for a win.

25 consecutive matches won, last defeat was 5 months ago, 5 consecutive championships! yep she is good!! The last two championships against a very desperate and hungry Marin who so anxiously wants to regain her much desire #1 in the world. After making mince meat of her previous opponents, especially Sindhu she she ran into a wall!

Nice and friendly people bring smile to those surrounding them. Ugly (in head) people bringing the worst from other persons. I find it very disturbing that in the second part of game also TTY was shouting when her opponent made an error. Looking on the situations when Marin shouts, it's clear, that this has nothing to do with good sportsmanship. Either BWF as a general rule; or an umpire should gave her clear warning and then consequently yellow and red card. She would learn very fast to keep her "pumping up" on lower level of dB scale. Umpire allows it, she is misusing it. It's like discussions of players with the referee in football and rugby. In rugby there are none. If non-skipper player starts to vocalize his opinions he can cool down for 10 minutes with the yellow card. We need just one consequent umpire that will clearly take position against this screeching. Btw, wonderful game and incredible skills of TTY. She can really fool her opponents with her small flicks on the end of hand movements.

Why is it that Marin has had three different coaches in the last 3 or 4 championships? Is she so desperate to regain #1 or she has no sense of gratitude for those who have helped in the past?

Carolina's haters are actually hilarious. She is the world AND Olympic champion. It definitely takes talent and skill to achieve that. For me personally,it's great to see such diverse personalities in the game, makes it interesting.

Carolina Marin shouts should not be taken as insults because those shouts she directs to her own self. Many players have the habit to self motivate by speaking to self and kind of uplifting the game if not performing well. Moreover Marin adds spice to the game else it would be a boring game. Badminton is not a gentleman's game like cricket but a game of cheering and jeering. Spectators are also noisy and that brings life to the event. Think if Marin doesn't play...trust me we all will miss her...and aren't people overjoyed to see her lose🌛
