I though du was you and sie was she. So confused as to why he says und sie for and you instead of und du

Thanks for your comment. Yes it can be confusing. You are correct "du" means "you" in informal situations. And sie means "she". But "Sie" with a capital "S" means "you" in formal situations. I hope this helps!
