Simbon "Aucun enfant du Wassolon, d'une certaine génération, ne peut écouter cette chanson sans avoir des sentiments atroces de nostalgie de la terre natale. Cette chanson était uniquement chantée par des jeunes filles du village lors des clairs de lune. Elle a bercé tant de jeunes. Fils de paysans, nous étions alors agréablement ensorcelés par les pas de danse de nos charmantes "poulettes". Merci à l'Artiste".

I only hope that their legacy are kept. They have done extremely well in keeping our Arts and Cultures 🎉. They are all my best, not to be biased, honestly. Anytime Oumou hits it, I forget all my sadness. When I hear Salif over there, my cerebral nerves shake in a way that makes me feel cold. What about Bambino Saikouba Jabateh? The handsome man. The melody of his music is just awesome. I love his music like any others. There are tons of them there who are as good as you cannot imagine. For me, their music are just a matter of which come first.

Cette chanson traverse tellement mon esprit. Je comprends un peu le Malinké . Là c'est en bambara et c'est plus dur pour moi de comprendre ce qu'elle dit. Mais j'aime cette chanson depuis que j'avais 8 ans . UN fan depuis la côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮

C'est plus du Wassouloukan, c'est un dialecte malinké. C'est différent du bambara même si ça reste mutuellement intelligible pour les différents locuteurs. C'est aussi ça la particularité des langues mandingues, notamment les trois variantes les plus proches (maninkan, bambara et dioula)
