After having been married for almost 15 years now and having been blessed with 10 precious children I would 100% encourage y'all to do something VERY special for this first anniversary before your sweet baby is born. As Katie said from here on out you will have the blessing of children, this will be your first and last anniversary that you will be able to take without children or having to get a babysitter....If Katie can still fly why not go to an all inclusive Island 💗🏝. You can always go to New York another time since it's so close to where y'all live!

I used to be a travel agent. The airline should give you a voucher for one year and all you need to pay is the change fee. Katie’s issues during pregnancy will give you the circumstances where the airline ought to waive a cancellation fee. Also not sure of the cruise you chose but if you need to do it next fall/winter, consider the southern Caribbean since it will be out of the hurricane belt. Every single time I see Travis’ mom I think about her falling off that horse & how very very blessed they all are that she’s ok & not paralyzed ❤ It was truly a miracle.

That's crazy you guys! I was able to travel all the way up to my 7th or 8th month with no problems! Maybe it's something with the cruiseline! I'm sorry you guys can't go on your cruise! Maybe think of somewhere you have never been before but want to go to. Yellowstone is on my bucket list! I love the pink you chose!

Not to say that I don’t enjoy your other vlogs because I do. It’s that you could genuinely see how happy you both are and excited about your journey into parenthood. Thank you both for sharing this beautiful journey with us all. I have too say since this will be your first & last anniversary without children and it’s important to share your time together, maybe since you can’t travel by plane ✈️ take a weekend trip to NY city since it’s so close or some where close & spend that special time enjoying each other because as someone who just lost there partner 😢 you never know how long we have together.

Also for decor, my sister just had a baby girl & over her crib are beautiful big paper flowers and butterflies then my niece's name in the center cut out wood in a pretty font. The flower colors matched her floral bedding and curtains and her name is also painted a shade to match her bedding ...it makes a statement, its feminine, & something she won't outgrow anytime soon as i made the same type of paper flower setup for my other niece's room who's five. Also shelving or book shelves our a necessity for decor, books, & memorabilia. I've always done shelving in my kids rooms for all of their lives !

Maybe not getting to go on the cruise is a blessing in disguise with how sick you’ve been in this pregnancy. I’m sorry that it happened and hope you can get your money back or vouchers. And hopefully you can come up with a wonderful alternative. Maybe go somewhere that would still give you ultimate Christmas fun plus great food although somewhere warm sounded nice too.
