You had a bunch of solid birds. I'd be proud to have birds from any of the guys that sent birds to you. Appreciate all the work you put in the get the best out of them.

Congrats! Awesome youngbird season, Tom. And congrats to the top flyers this year as well. You did the birds right with your care and training regimen.. The birds sent were very high quality that's for sure.. Kudos to all the breeders for producing great birds who handled a very tough course here in the west, which proves they have some pretty good blood running through their veins. This is always a sad time of the year when all the races are over, but I'm looking forward to next year and can't wait till the settling tunnel is put into action next spring... JT! JT! Who knows, maybe I'll have a bird there next year too. 🙂

Hi Tom As you already know I've enjoyed your channel so much this year 😊 Your experience of racing pigeons is so different than mine....I do wish we could have racing like yours. Where we fly in England it would be nearly impossible to have such returns with all our hawk problems and clashing with different organisations going in the opposite directions. We had a race from 280 miles recently and with around 50 members competing and 450 rings sold we had 115 birds reach the final race and only 5 birds returning in race time (2 days) 😢 Hope your racing continues as it has this year.....incredible!! Maybe you could have listed all participants for next year and then got us to vote for 9....would have been easier. I follow Quintero on youtube so he gets my vote 👍

You have ten times the population and 1/4 of the land mass of my race course. My birds fly over mostly desert and mountains with mostly small towns with little to no cross traffic with other birds. It is funny I am envious of you with 50 members. My club is almost dried up. Only three YB flyers. In the combine we had 20 lofts/340 birds at the first race. Last race we had 12 lofts/106 pigeons. The distance between those 20 lofts east to west is 90 miles, north to south 40 miles. Everyone is spread out. I am sure there are members in the combine that lost more birds then we started with. We had a unique year at the little loft. Over 50% losses is normal and sometimes it is a lot higher. I really appreciate your participation on the channel. You need to shows us what racing is like in England. I will be your first subscriber 😉

I have never met Armando and have only talked to Pat on the phone. They do amazing things with their birds. The crazy thing is they have 90 miles overfly on me. The five birds ahead of me on the combine champion bird report are 3 from Armando, 1 from Pat and 1 from Harpers. They are great pigeon flyers with great birds.
