@@Itsbrittneypatrick Our profile just went active 6 weeks ago (we ran into a few delays). We are currently being considered by 2 expectant mamas, and should hear back on their decisions in the next few days! Congrats on going active! I'm sure its such a relief!

What a beautiful story! Your family’s journey was written by God Himself. Aden is precious. Yes, we also room our kids when they were infants, it’s more convenient to check them , it’s also fosters bonding for us as a family. Can’t wait for the updates. Aden is precious.

Wow this is so special - that's a really great experience to be in the room and even be able to cut the cord! Wow - "the Lord's will" - I don't think anything sums up adoption better than that!

What a wonderful story. He is precious! You have a really pleasant speaking voice. I see you are fairly new to KZfaq videos..just a quick tip from a KZfaq viewer...look at the lens and not the viewfinder. It’s hard to not watch yourself talk, but for us viewers it is so nice to feel like we are being spoken to!

I turn 21 next year and i am thinking about adopting next year or the year after. I for one dont know which route to take whether i should be a foster parent or adopt from foster care or adopt from a birthmother. I have been kind of afraid of adopting from a birthmother because im afraid they may do it for the money then change their mind. Of course with any adoption there is pros and cons. But I would love any advice from everyone😊 BTW loved the video!!

Hi Chi! Adoption is Beautiful,crazy scary, amazing and many more things all at once. Ask God to show you which direction you should go. When you choose adoption there’s always the risk that the birth mother will choose to parent. But know whatever journey you take you will be blessed in the end.

How easy is to adopt a child in U.S.A??? Here in Greece takes 5-6 years !!!!! It is very, very difficult!!!

These guys had a quite fast and easy time adopting compared to the average in America! It probably helped that they worked with a consultant (CAC), who I have heard some good things about. The average wait time for infant adoption in the U.S. is 2 years, and many end up not adopting because there are so many more people wanting to adopt babies than babies to adopt (about 40 families wanting to adopt per every 1 baby placed for adoption).

@@KatieArendsPlace thank you for yr information!!! Here in Greece there are many many babies even in hospital (healthy abandoned babies) waiting for adoption but the government doesn't help people to adopt!!! I know It's sounds so upset but it's true.!!!

Hello Tiera! Thanks for your question. For a private infant adoption each adoptive couple or parent sits down with the agency and discusses what there preferences are. This includes health factors, race, gender and many many more factors. once the agency knows what your family is open to they start a process called matching. Birthmothers ultimately choose the couple or person that they feel is right for their baby. (Agency uses preference of both birthmother and Adoptive family to make a match) Hope this helps!! God bless
