This video is helping me a ton today, I've been notified about a cpc and am waiting for my specialist appointment later this month. Everything else was perfect in my scan but this one soft marker and I've been told not to worry this follow up is just to get a better look but I can't quite shake the not knowing. with our first boy they saw a spot on his heart (he had a level 2 ultrasound at 34 weeks and it wasn’t there) 🤷🏼‍♀️ our second boy had zero issues and they’re both healthy! so prayers for the whole family. 💕

My son had a choroid plexus cyst of the brain at 20 weeks ultrasound . They freaked me out about it at first but it WENT AWAY before I even gave birth...he is super smart and an all around great kid...❤ that 20 week ultrasound scrutinizes everything about baby! ❤Love you guys and congrats on a healthy baby!

I had a positve trisomy 18 on our Julian at 20 weeks. I was so freaked out the whole pregnancy & at 33 weeks we found out he was perfect. He was a false positive. Just give him the best life you can 💛 you have a great doctor you're so lucky i wasn't so lucky. I'll pray for you all.

My son had trisomy 18 and didnt have a cyst or tightly clenched fists. Instead my boy had clubbed feet, AVSD, hydrops, and fluid on his brain. He was stillborn at 34 weeks. His diagnosis was confirmed via amniocentesis during our anatomy scan. I am so glad you guys had good news in the end, trisomy 18 is a scary scary diagnosis.

Bless your heart! One of my daughters had a cyst on her brain but by the time we had our next ultrasound it was gone! I found out my little one is a girl on Aug. 29th! She has a calcium spot on her heart which is a marker for downs but Dr says the baby has less than 1% chance of having it. It's hard not to stress about it but try not to!!

So glad he’s a strong healthy little boy! I lost my Sadie Grace to trisomy 18, it’s a genetic condition where they have 3 copies of chromosome 18 instead of 2. So glad y’all can breathe a sigh of relief ... I don’t wish that heartbreak on anyone!! Can’t wait to meet the little man!

I just had my 11 week scan a few days ago, the nuchal translucency one... that also did not go well for me. They said the neck folds were measuring like 4 times the normal range and it prob meant Down syndrome. I feel your pain, don’t worry just take it one day at a time. Holding your hand through this!

Awe I'm glad that baby boy is doing well!💙💙 When I was pregnant, my doctors told me that I needed to come back to get another ultrasound so they could check on her heart again, and that had me super super worried😱 but when they looked at it again, it was perfect! 😊 I know how nerve wracking it can be to be unsure about baby's health and not really able to do anything to help! But I know you're little one is perfect, he's just growing so fast because he's so eager to meet his mommy and daddy!😉💙👶🏻

My son had a few cysts in his brain at the 20 week scan but had a later ultrasound that was clear. Keep positive and know that you are not alone.

I went through this same exact situation on my 20 week ultrasound but instead the extra calcium was in my baby’s heart & on my last ultrasound around 36 weeks it had spread out as my baby grew meaning everything was clear , its nothing to worry about 💛

I just had my anatomy scan too and our little boy had a few small cysts on his brain too- no other markers so it’s no worries. Was scary to hear but glad our boys are healthy

My first son had a cyst on his brain, I was 22 years old and had the same reaction as you we had a follow up ultrasound at 30 weeks and the cyst was gone. My doctor said if the cyst is only on one side it will most go away and it did! Dont stress about it he is good!

Same thing happened to me !! I was terrified. My baby girl had the cysts but no other markers. She’s 1 week old now and perfectly healthy ☺️ don’t worry !

I like that they told you. During my pregnancy I went to my 20 week anatomy scan and apparently there was something with my babies heart but they didn't tell me and I went back for an ultrasound later maybe around 30 something weeks and the doc came in and said "that heart thing cleared up" my husband and I were like what heart thing?

I found out three days ago that I’m pregnant too! My frozen embryo transfer worked! I go for my first beta tomorrow. Good thoughts or prayers would be much appreciated. My tests are darkening but they still seem light for 9 days past transfer. Got a negative digital test this morning. Can’t wait to see more videos from you guys! Thanks for the update we will look out for the trysssssblahblah on my 20week ultrasound in Ghana most or hospitals and doctors don't tell you everything but I ask more questions about everything thank love you guys.

I am sorry you had a scary 20 week and I hope they really were able to ease your mind. Easier said than done, but don’t worry!! My son had a spot on his heart which is a downs marker. I was very scared. They sent me for a level 2 and blood work. He’s perfectly fine. Just the fact that they aren’t sending you for a level 2 is totally reassuring! I know SO many people who have had these scares. They can just see so much and it’s terrifying!! I almost wish they didn’t tell people unless it required further attention. The stress is no good for pregnant mamas. Sounds like your little man is just perfect though!!! Congrats 💙

There’s actually several other markers. My baby has one but they really aren’t worried. I just have to have a follow up ultrasound in a few weeks.

Great video. I wouldn’t worry at this point and hope you’re enjoying your trip. I’m curious, did you do an early genetic screening? They test for the main trisomies on the screen. If that was negative, this is highly likely just an incidental finding that will resolve.

Went through the same thing last week. Had two nights of crying until they redid the ultrasound to check the baby's hands and feet. I felt it was an unnecessary scare, but it only makes me more appreciative of having another baby.

We had a defective heart scare with one of my sons..turned out fine Thank god..but ik how yall felt.

I can totally relate to your scary situation. As I am going through this exact thing myself right now. Only I was the one that spotted it well after the fact just by looking at the pics given to me, one hand/fist appears different then the other and not in a very natural pose, (I noticed it being like this in other scans too). Of course I did a google search and absolutely terrified myself.(Google can be the devil!) I took my scan concerns to my doctor, she did seemed a bit concerned but says it could just be a weird angle or shot that we got. So I’m freaking out pretty hardcore right now. I am 35 weeks and am scheduled to do an ultrasound where the weight will be measured on Wednesday, the doc said they would get a closer look at his left hand when we do that scan. Its been a ridiculously long 2 week wait with that sitting on my mind. I’m just full of prayers right now. Your video has given me hope though that everything can be perfectly fine even if it appears differently at first. It also educated me on the subject, and took some of that google fear of doom and gloom away. So thank you for sharing, and very happy to hear of little man’s wonderful progress! ❤️❤️❤️

My older son had two cysts on his brain at my anatomy scan. By the time I went to the specialist the next week, they were gone 😌❤️

My daughter had the same thing during our 20 week scan, they had me come back a few weeks later to check and see if it was gone and it was! Usually nothing to worry about

Omg I feel you I went through the same thing , I felt like I was going to die when they told me that . Don’t worry about it I was told the same with my daughter , we repeated the ultrasound 2 weeks after that and it was gone and now she is 18 months old and she is totally healthy and fine thank god 🙏🏻

We only have to drink one glass here but I always bring a tumbler cause I know I'm gonna have to pee before going into the ultrasound so I just keep drinking it

My best friends little boy had this at 20 week scan, by the time they had the next scan at 29 weeks it was gone, He is so sweet you guys, it is such a worry but he looks amazing. The reason they get to to drink water is to make the bladder larger\, but also it is easy to see throw fluid then solid tissues, so the fluid in the bladder makes it eaiser to see the baby.

Seriously, DO NOT worry about this at all. My son had SEVERAL markers for down syndrome or other genetic problems. My son has a smaller femur and calsification on his heart. I remember being there bawling my eyes out waiting for the doctor to come in with my mom and husband in the room. I went to a specialist for a few months and he continued to grow just a little smaller than other babies. He's about to be 5 months old, and he is actually sky rocketing in height and is in the 83rd percentile for height now even though he was in the small range while pregnant and he also doesn't have down syndrome or any genetic issue. Don't let this make your pregnancy worrisome like mine, just enjoy this sweet baby 💖 my sister's children had cysts on their brain and it just went away. Nothing is wrong mama 💖 however your baby is, it is EXACTLY who he was meant to be and is healthy, and you're gonna love him so much no matter anything 💖

We are going for my 20 week scan on Oct 7th and they said not to have a full bladder. I've needed one every other time but this time they gave me a paper specifically saying not to fill lol

The 20 week scan is awful, we lost our little girl to tristomy 18, we lost her at 14 weeks, we found out st our 12 week scan, we also found out at our 20 week scan that our little boy had a lethal skeletal dysplasia and we lost him at 21 weeks :( it’s horrible when it turns scans into scary things rather than enjoyable! Glad your little man is ok 💙 xxx

My youngest had a cyst on her brain that was gone by our 34 week scan. They put us at high risk b/c I had polyhydramnios with her as well but it scared me. She started kindergarten this year and we had testing done this past Summer for her intelligence (b/c she had unrelated things going on) and her IQ is REALLY high- so try not to worry, I promise it will all turn out great :).

I’m happy that technology is so advanced. Several years ago, couples were unable to be informed of medical concerns prior to birth. It’s great to hear that the baby is healthy and happy! I was so concerned when I saw the video title! Haha, 8 pounds isn’t bad! I gained 9 pounds (15 w, 2 d). Every week I’m at Chipotle. I’ve been feeling flutters and I can’t wait until Jim and I can feel the baby kick!

My son had a choroid plexus cyst and was perfectly fine, he’s 9 now It’s considered a normal variant on ultra sounds now! You could have one and not know! Don’t worry. I’m a doula. It’s perfectly fine.

Aww, that must be so scary but I have met 2 people who has the same result as you and the cysts went away, and never resulted in any problems and both babies are genetically and chromosomal normal. One of them was my niece. And they mentioned possible diwn syndrome (she is 7 now and she does not have it) stay positive and try not to worry. I bet your little guy is doing great!!!

My middle son had a cyst in his brain in utero and it reabsorbed and he’s fine :) they do kind of freak you about it though :/

I had a friend who has a cyst on her daughters brain as well and when she moved back to the states (we’re military) she was 8.5 months pregnant! They checked her brain in the ultrasound and cyst was gone! I hope that gives you some relief!

Please you guys don’t trust or believe to much on ultrasounds. With my son they said this same thing with my son. I told them I don’t wanna know anything else ( for personal beliefs). My son came out in perfect health so all that hype was for nothing. I almost feel like they HaVE to find something wrong because no pregnancy can be perfect to dr. So just remember your baby boy is perfect. Love you guys

I just find out same things as my 19 weeks baby, but my doctor told me no need worried about it, because my NIPT blood test is negative and baby palm is open , nose bone, heart and feet are all good, but first time mom me still scared, hopefully it turned out dissolve it by itself soon, I saw your other video your baby already born, so how is choroid plexus cysts doing with your baby? Did it gone by itself?

We were told to go back in a month which will be this coming Thursday.We were also told everything is fine with him but they want to check him again since he wouldn’t stop moving so much .Also because he wouldn’t open his hand.He did wave hi to us twice.Im keeping faith our baby will come out healthy and fine.
