His genetic test is literally the most interesting one I have seen. For him to have 0% Asian and so little European, it's sort of mindblowing. But it's cool seeing how, because of his background, his results are different. I'm Mexican and I'm currently waiting for my own results. I've seen videos by other Mexicans and we tend to be Native American, European, and African, mostly.

I was as shocked as you when I found out my ancestry! I was always told I was 100% Salvadorian but I knew there had to be something else in my blood because my maternal grandma had light hair and light eyes, same with my mom she has a pasty white skin, my father on the other side is more dark skinned and that’s mostly how most natives from my country are! My results came back and I’m 39% Native American, Salvadorian, 3.2% south East Asian, 40.3% European, which broke down to 22.2% Portuguese, 15.4% Italian, 2% British, 0.4% ashkenazi Jewish, 0.6% French. I had 6.0% Subsaharan African.2.01% west Asian and North African! That being 1.3% Arabian. The rest of my DNA could not be determined! I think it’s the coolest thing to find out where your ancestors come from!! I loved this video!

I was not surprised at all it was almost exactly what I thought I was, my family kept decent records of their history, even the .9 percent middle eastern jewish or mizrah, lebanon area. My last name is in the Jewish surnames but no one in the family has been jewish for hundreds of years probably around the 1200's. Somehow they ended up in the Finland area so I ended up 99.1 percent mix of scottish irish, english, scandinavian, north western Europe - German , dutch, netherlands, france area, and .9 percent middle eastern.

I find so many women/men from the Middle East, East Africa & those who are ethnically mixed, to be super good looking, that it makes little Swedish me, feel so pale, dull & ordinary! haha In ref to your African ancestry, that's pretty normal for your overall ethnic mix & actually, i've seen many white people, who also carry some African ancestry. In reality, we all have ancient ancestors who originate from Africa, but for most of us modern Europeans, it's the window of resolution, that will prove our more recent African roots. It all makes sense, bec as we all go farther back, we all have countless ancestral lineages & who really knows, whereby all of our ancestors originated from. I did mine and got 82% African %14 European %3 West-Asian and %1 native American. I wasn't surprised to see Africa, Europe and Native American but i'm surprised to have some middle eastern in me. I don't mind it it's just that my family never talked about its middle eastern roots.

Greek are normally not blond, blue eye and fair-skinned, but olive--skinned with dark eye and hair!

i just did a ancestry test. so far that i know of is that my dad is turkish and kurdish and my mom is very mixed but mainly spanish and german.. i’m excited to see the results!!

If you're from Latin America you will definitely have Spanish ancestry. No surprise there. I did mine with 23andme and got this: 80.7% European (mostly Iberian and Northwestern Europe) 8.3% Native American 5.1% Sub-Saharan Africa 3.3% North African/Middle Eastern 2.6% Unassigned. I might try Ancestry in the future to compare the results.

About your fathers grand mother "White skin, blue eyes and blonde hair" Really describes more Scandinavian people than it does Greek people. Greek people usually are tanner with dark colored hair and eyes. Blue eyes on a greek is very very rare. She must have been one of those rare ones. Blue eyes and Blonde hair isn't that common at all.

No offense, but I'm Hispanic and this young lady looks and personality wise reminds me of the same ladies I grew up around. I think alot of Hispanics would also have some Semitic due to Spain being a Muslim country at one time. She looks Hispanic and I view her as a Hispanic woman. Nothing unusual about her at all.
