Sharing our experience going to see the Super Mario Movie in 3D. We had the whole theater to ourselves and it was awesome. The movie was too. Filmed 4/12/23

I saw it, too! I had such an amazing blast in the theater, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie is literally my favorite Illumination film of all-time!

I saw the movie in 4DX IMAX and it cost $19 for a ticket lol Theater was full. Also it was so funny. There was like a 4 year old kid who literally said “What the hell!” During one of the previews. Also right when the movie started and bowser showed up he said “ITS THE GUY FROM WRECK IT RALPH!” Lol Either way seats moved, air blew behind us, water sprayed. It was fun for $19 lol Also epic post credit scene!

I watched it in 4D because it was the earliest screening possible.

@@GregsWorld it’s a bit blurry at first until your eyes get adjusted. Plus, your seats will be shaking and rumbling like a joy ride so I don’t recommend eating when action scenes are happening. Despite that, I did enjoy watching it as my first viewing.

I just want to say you guys had a great time watching the new super Mario Bros movie, including your son was so happy to see it Clark’s mom and dad you guys get a 10 out of 10 for doing a great job of doing a very nice thing to take your son to the movies

That movie was epic. It had so many easter eggs and nostalgia in it. I'm glad it wasn't a flop like the very first Mario movie. Glad you guys had fun seeing it.

Went to see it with my girls last week. What a great film it is😀. So many hidden Easter eggs. Especially when you remember the original Donkey Kong coming out 😂😂

I'm glad y'all enjoyed the movie. I can't wait to watch it once it comes to the cheaper theater near us. Our theater is rarely packed as well. When we go, it is usually just us and a few other people if any.

They were lucky! My first time viewing this had a decent amount of people watching but I believe my third time was mostly packed.

I laughed out loud when you called Coty Princess Peach, and I don’t know why! It was funny. We loved the movie, too. It was my first 3D experience, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it lol

I can't wait until this movie is at the community center ,sat family movie. Movie tickets are only $3 for kids and $4 for adults. Popcorn is $2and drinks are $1. A private showing is so cool.

Those prices are incredible. I think we spent over $60. It was worth it for the memories though!

@@GregsWorld yes the prices are low because everything is done by volunteers. The only thing the community center has to pay for is the movie that they show every weekend. We only get one movie a week and the theater is only open Saturday and Sunday. With 2 showings at 2p.m and 7p.m

One of my local Regals used to be or at least it was called Hollywood Theatres and they changed the name to Regal but kept the Hollywood sign up until they replaced it with the Regal sign but they closed it two years later.

Took my younger brother to watch this movie, and I was actually really surprised how good this movie was. I thought it would be some bad movie, but was actually a very cool movie! Glad you guys enjoyed!

Mario Bros really is a great movie. So much fun and nostalgia. And great for some quality time with the family. I guess one can watch it over and over again and still find easter eggs. 😀 Hope your theater will stay open! Getting it as a "private screening" is amazing. We got lucky when we watched "Bowie: Moonage Daydream". 👨‍🎤😁 And many yeasr ago (1995) some friends were standing in front of a small cinema and wanted to watch "Judge Dredd" but they wouldn't show it for less then 5 people, so I rode home on my bike got the money and was back a few minutes later to be #5. That was cool!

That's awesome makes me want to go watch this now haha. My movie theater near me has $5 tickets on Tuesday's so that's a good time to go and last time I went for John wick 4 almost had the theater to myself. It's sad because movie theaters are probably going to be almost non existent like drive in theaters. And every will be on streaming services or you'll have to go far to find a theater. Hope im wrong and people will revive theaters and get a nostalgic feeling for them and then some hype will start and everyone prefers to go to theaters again.

The last time i saw a man with the camera movie theater the ushers kicked him out because pirating laws. but now it's more like a hobby filming their movie theatre experience because movie theaters have less people in them than they were used to be so cool it still is cool today but it wasn't cool as it was back in the day going to a movie theater.

I just saw this movie for the first time tonight. My four year old went with his dad and it was his first ever trip to the movie theater. I honestly was surprised at how good it was. Loved how it was geared toward the newer generation of Mario fans but yet all the Easter eggs for us older folks that grew up on the game from the very first game.

I may not have gotten to have this family experience for my all time childhood video gaming hero but I’m glad I got to see a family enjoy the Mario movie. It’s such a good movie that brings me to tears seeing Mario on the big screen and something that all families can watch and enjoy compared to what Disney is putting out. I’d watch this in 4D which was the only earliest time I could watch it which was like a roller coaster ride.

I loved this movie, it was great….I got some over priced candy and ice cream, my nephews got popcorn, loved the movie, my dad fell asleep….it was a great time.
