Good job breezing through the cleanup and decorating! The house looked so nice! Sunny will be walking everywhere in no time. She has really good balance! About the Santa subject, I would just let Jack believe for now. Besides, if you tell him now, Sunny won't ever get any magical time believing in Santa. It's really one of the last traditions that plays on the innocence of childhood. I was 7 when I figured it all out on my own. I remember that VERY SAD day vividly. I went to my mom and said," I know that really it's you doing Santa Claus. And the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy!" I think I even cried a little. To me it seemed like nothing would be fun EVER AGAIN.🥺😭 Don't ruin it for them, they're still so little.❤️🎄❤️🦌❤️☃️❤️🎅

I saw this explanation of Santa on Facebook and thought that it was a really nice way to explain Santa when kids start questioning his existence. “Once they’re old enough to understand, you could explain that Santa isn’t really an old man with a white beard and red suit. That’s what everyone tells the little kids because they’re too young to understand the true nature of Santa Claus. The truth is, he's not a person at all - he's an idea. Get them to think of all those presents Santa gave them over the years. Explain that you actually bought those yourself and that Santa Claus is the idea of giving for the sake of giving, without thanks or acknowledgement. Tell them that now they know the truth, they’re part of it, too, and can never tell a younger child the secret. They have to help select Santa presents for younger siblings, and most importantly, they have to look for opportunities to help people.”

This is one of my favorites getting to see Sunny take her first steps - going back n' forth into her loving mommy & daddy's embrace - so beautiful!! 🥲 Something I didn't notice the first time watching this one back in December, Sarah's beloved sister-in-law, Lo, wasn't at Sarah's "girls/gals only" extended family members" soire. Lo looked a bit sad 😢 left behind with hubby & bro-in-law, their kiddos playing together, Sunny deep into her high-pitched "screaming phase"...😂 (I'm sure there was a good reason, and, I know, it's nomb anyway). HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the Beeston's!! 🎉❤

I just lost my 36 yr old son in June. Life is so very short and you just never know. So, let them have all the dreams and beliefs they can for as long as they can! All 4 of my kids always say Santa is real. When your kids look back at their childhoods, they are going to remember you being a part of it, not always cleaning.

If a child is a “screamer” or going through a phase, never respond to the screaming with anything other than a calm “Use your words” or “I don’t understand screaming, use your words”, solves it pretty quickly. :)
