No matter what you decide, God will either confirm it in your hearts, or change it like He did ours right before my little girl was born. Up until the day I had her the name I had picked out was Charlee. I still love that name especially for a little girl! I ended up naming my daughter Mae Belle. I chose to use two words so it would never get confused as Mabel. I have never met anyone else named Mae Belle, besides hearing it off the movie Bridge to Terabithia when I was little. I think it’s such a cute southern name!Even tho I didn’t know this would be her name, God knew! In the beginning of my pregnancy God gave me two words for my daughter, “lovable” and “beautiful”. I had looked up so many times names that meant these two words but never found any that I liked. God gave us the name Mae Belle which means lovable! Broken into two words it means “pearl” and “beauty” together meaning “loveable”. How beautiful is that?! God wrecked me when he laid this unordinary name on our hearts. It’s so beautiful to look back on how she was named. Don’t get too dead set on anything and embroider blankets and jean jackets until you have her… because I did! 😬🤣
