Wow! What a wonderful comeback story of life and all the trials and tribulations it throws at you. Everyone falls! You never give up and fight back to the top. Unfortunately it does happen more than once to some people. It’s all in the outlook in life and how you attack it to climb back up. Proud of hearing your success!! Wish it would rub off on me. Heel veel respect voor wat jullie hebben bereikt en dat jullie hier zo transparant over zijn! Als je niets hebt, is de eerste prioriteit om overal en nergens inkomen uit te genereren maar het is mooi om te zien dat jullie echt gaan voor het toevoegen van waarde en dat jullie daar je richting in hebben gevonden. Hopelijk lukt het om in 2022 van een groot deel van die schulden af te komen, dat creëert pas echt vrijheid.

How refreshing to listen to two very open honest young people who never gave up which many people would of done. There's a plus side to having cancer ,once you get past the initial shock and decide to fight you really start seeing and appreciating all the things you've always taken for granted. I'm must commend you both for never giving up and now you can live your lives on your own terms. I'm a religious person and when you said Benjamin was a blessing and a miracle it really touched my heart because that's exactually what he was . One thing I've learned surviving cancer once over thirty years ago and now fighting it again for the last 6 years is there's a reason you survived. And I believe that God wasn't thru with you and he had things that he wanted you to accomplish. I wonder every day what those things are and I try to live my life the best I can by helping other people. I really think you both are on the right road to fulfill the Destiny that the good Lord has chosen for you. God bless you and watch over you in your new adventures.

Circumstance don't matter, state of being matters. And to get to this point you have to be grateful and appreciate all the beautiful things in life, like a butterfly flying around or the birds singing or have you onboard our journey. Some times we all go through dark stuff in life but it builds caracter and strength and you learn alott from that. i am a spiritual person so after many dark night of the soul im starting to understand what i want out of life.. i am so happy for you guys and its so fun watching you go forward with your life.. I think your secret is this. If one person in the partnership has crashed, they do not pull down the other person with them. One person remains upright to help the other person pull themselves back up. That is success! That is a good relationship built on interdependence. Plus your creativity saved and helped you navigate! Way to go!

Hahaha Frank, een boek zit in de pen, wij zitten te denken aan twee afzonderlijke ;) De verschillende perspectieven en inderdaad diep respect voor Rianne die niet wegliep en zelfs enorme risico's nam die zij helemaal niet hoefde te nemen. Ben niet altijd een gemakkelijke vent maar dat zie je in de volgende afleveringen wel. Fijn weekend en super leuk om jou aan boord te hebben van onze reis. Hmm - I had cancer with 32, build up a diagnostic business over 16y, invested all my money and had a bankrupcy in 2018 cased by one shareholder blocking a capital increase. The good thing - it happend in the Netherlands and I could rescue the company, the team, clients and suppliers relationships. 2020 life changes and the company is extremely successful since than. So I can 100% feel with you through. My wife and myself are no looking forward to change our lifestyle. Less work, more fun. I just purchased a Nordhavn 47 in Bari - it would be a pleasure to meet in the Med some day. Isn't that funny - I have a DEFENDER with a Roof-tent, too :-) - I loved you story - thanks for sharing.

Hello Woody, lots of similarities and good to hear you could rescue the company, the team, clients and suppliers, this was my biggest wish at that time. Unfortunately our shareholder and his advisors took a different path and decided to start fighting instead of saving the company. Great to hear the company is extremely successful. The beauty of the tragedy is that we had to change our life and built everything up from the ground but with our preferred lifestyle in mind. Congratulations with your purchase, a very sturdy vessel, like a Defender on the water. Would be great to anchor one day and share some stories in real life.

I pray God will send me my captain soon. Divorced three years ago, mentally and physically many many years before that but because extenuating circumstances could not leave earlier. Amazing! Thanks for Sharing. I had a similar events in my life early on. Worked hard on my Business all through my 20s and it collapsed when I turned 31. I turn 36 this year and I have been through my ups and downs, though now I am ready to get up again. I will be concentrating on the things I love now, enjoying life to the full, hence why I follow you guys. A sailboat is in the near future, you guys are inspirational. Sometimes you have to live by that old saying 😁 “ Just do it!”
